Hard to say. Chad's recent ascent back into the pound-for-pound rankings......Spinks inside the distance.
Only reason Dawson makes it outta the early rounds is because Spinks was a slow starter. Once Mike got cooking, Chad would be unconscious shortly after.
I seem to have a slightly higher opinion of Dawson than most. But he doesn't have the balls to even make a decent fight of this. He takes a few rounds, but never takes enough chances to make a real fight of it. Loses about 12-3 in a snoozer.
YES! Even some of his moves looked hopeless... His jab had this strange sort of half-chop in it, didn't look smooth at all, but he had tremendous success with it... you wouldn't expect him to really hit, but his right hand was a bomb... very unusual fighter, and really great
But at Heavyweight I've got to say it like this: "Spinks Jinx aint got nothing to it. The whole world knows he wont do it He'll run around the ring for a few rounds, But Mike Tyson will run him down"
Theres no way in holy hell Dawson goes the distance with Spinks. Chad doesnt have the chin to handle the Jinx. Not even close.
