    :giggle:

Barneyboy, you're too late with your Wonjongkam prediction. The fight was yesterday.

I've taken people on trust with late predictions before, I have no problem doing it here.

The fight was actually this morning (like three hours ago). Barneyboy was right on time with his picks

I forgot the 'Tyson' Marquez - Concepcion rematch was this weekend. Nice one.

I hope I can get this on BoxNation.

Are the Calderon/Garcia, Chambers/Thompson fights postponed?

  18. Jake

Jake WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

Garcia is injured. I forget who Calderon is now fighting, but don't recall it worth predicting.

Thompson-Chambers is also off, perhaps for good. Chambers pulled out a week or so ago and Thompson's people are lobbying to skip eliminator against replacement and just advance straight to title.

    Against who? Wlad? Again. :shit:

  20. Jake

Yup.. I mean, it was a title eliminator, so the winner was eventually lining up to fight Wlad again.

Goossen is enough of a dick to where I could see him using the disinterest in such a rematch to force the IBF to strip Wlad for not defending against the mandatory, thereby having his guy travel a safer route to a vacant title.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if, when Thompson is made mandatory, Wlad is soon stripped/encouraged to give up the belt and Thompson-Chambers is rescheduled next year for the vacant title instead of as an eliminator.

    HUT HUT:

    Suggestions for November 4-6:

Denis Lebedev v. James Toney, 10 rds cruiserweight (200)

    Saturday Nov 5
Michael Katsidis v. Ricky Burns, 12 rds lightweight (135)
George Groves v. Paul Smith, 12 rds super middleweight (168)
Lucian Bute v. Glen Johnson, 12 rds for Bute's super middleweight (168) belt
Alfredo Angulo v. James Kirkland, 12 rds super welterweight (154) title eliminator
Peter Quillin v. Craig McEwan, 10 rds middleweight (160)
Chris Arreola v. Raphael Butler, 10 rds heavyweight
Guillermo Jones v. Michael Marrone, 12 rds for Jones cruiserweight (200) belt

    Sunday November 6
Takahiro Oh v. Devis Boschiero, 12 rds for Oh's super featherweight (130) belt

Thinking it might be easier to add week-by-week rather than month as a whole. If you want more for rest of month, will come back on later. For now, let me know which of these are worthy of picking...

Decent list. The Qullin, Butler and Marrone fights don't look all that tasty but apart from that, its decent. Bute.....:pointlaugh:

Wow, busy week. I'm thinking these are all worthy-

    Fri-sat 4-5th November
Denis Lebedev v. James Toney, 10 rds cruiserweight (200)
Michael Katsidis v. Ricky Burns, 12 rds lightweight (135)
George Groves v. Paul Smith, 12 rds super middleweight (168)
Lucian Bute v. Glen Johnson, 12 rds for Bute's super middleweight (168) belt
