FAT FRANK: "Please let me score, I'm on a Happy Meal bonus.." SUPER SHAUN DERRY: "SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND GET BACK IN MY POCKET YOU FAT FUCK" HH: "Listen to your father, Frank..."
I can't find my post (i'm sure it was in the old premier league thread), but I posted it before the season started and that we would claim a top 4 scalp and look what happened. How good am I!!!!
Bollox smokescreen. Terry is England captain, one set of rules for them, another set of rules for everyone else.
Innit. He blatantly did it. It's online for everyone to see. Villas-Boas says that there's "a misunderstanding"............what? Calling the opposition's player a "fucking black cunt" is going to be misinterpreted as something else? NO!!! Fuck off :flip:
He's England captain. Rio will call Anton, Rio will call John, Sky will call the FA, we're all chums here, it will get fixed, few bob into the Anton Ferdinand Booty Call Foundation, Roberts ya fathers brother, sorted, sorted.
I've missed the West London derby so fucking much :: CHECK IT, kicked off in the tunnel afterwards too, GET IN LADS!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...sorder-Andre-Villas-Boas-facing-FA-probe.html "Sportsmail understands that Chelsea and QPR players were involved in a furious tunnel bust-up after Sunday’s ill-tempered clash. Boiling point: Players from both sides were said to have clashed in the tunnel after the final whistle A dressing-room source said: ‘There was a lot of testosterone flying around in the tunnel. ‘It was not like one or two of them were getting involved, everyone was. ‘It looked like it was all going to kick off at one point before they were all ushered into their dressing rooms. ‘QPR players were not about to be intimated by Chelsea players and were all for standing their ground in the tunnel. ‘Thankfully, it was more handbags than anything else but it could have turned out to be a lot more.’ "
Even better :: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/stand...e-24002162-chelsea-mocked-qpr-before-derby.do Chelsea 'mocked' QPR before derby Queens Park Rangers are furious with Chelsea for mocking them on their official website. Manager Neil Warnock and players Adel Taarabt and Joey Barton were all ridiculed on chelseafc.com, where QPR were branded "a club under pressure", despite making an encouraging start on their return to the *Premier League after a 15-year break. Warnock is understood to have been angered by the article, which came in a preview for the west London derby, and it also upset other members of the QPR staff, who considered it unprofessional and an insult. Parts of the article that infuriated QPR included: "The noises from the Rs camp are redolent of the cliches produced by the underdog before a cup final. "It will be our first League meeting with Queens Park Rangers for 15 years and it is fair to say the hosts are quite worked up about it. Less so Blues supporters. And to the experienced Chelsea players it is obviously a potentially tricky fixture, but still fundamentally third versus 11th. "Add the spats between team-mates Adel Taarabt and social media lifestyle coach [Joey] Barton, and Warnock's odd attack on a fan who leaked the news that Taarabt had been dropped to the bench ahead of their recent 1-1 draw with Blackburn, and you have a club under some pressure." The article also referenced the fact that former QPR co-owner Bernie Ecclestone was a Chelsea fan. Rangers had the last laugh on Sunday, when they put a dent in Chelsea's title aspirations, winning 1-0 at Loftus Road in a match which saw Jose Bosingwa and Didier Drogba both sent off for the visitors. Although QPR are unlikely to complain to the Premier League, Warnock will use the controversy as an extra motivation for their trip across west London on April 28, when his side will be looking for their first League victory at Stamford Bridge in 29 years.
It's such a pleasant feeling, knowing we have beaten the scum and have bragging rights. Nothing can take away this feeling and nothing feels as good as knowing that chelsea fans can't say shit to us.
Lost a huge 4 game parlay today with Arsenal + ManUre + Cardiff + Crystal Palace/Southampton draw... knew i should have gone for the home side. argh
In the League. Tottanham's last home win vs Chelsea - April 2010, won 2-1 Arsenal's last home win vs Chelsea - December 2010, won 3-1 Fulham's last home win vs Chelsea - March 2006, won 1-0 QPR's last home win vs Chelsea, October 2011, won 1-0
Chelsea vs Arsenal Everton vs The Manchester Sixers I just know Liverpool will fudge it up vs West Brom. Hodgson just sits on his bench with his old, owl face and waits for a sending off, an OG, a penalty to turn things in his favour. Very refreshing what that old Arab had to say about Mark Hughes. Guy puts up a statute of Michael Jackson and then says Hughes is odd. Thats right. Hughes is odd. :scratcher:
THE GLASGOW CELTIC, THE TIM MALLOYS! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fkO58XYvBN8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
When you first proposed Celtic to me as the football club that was ideal for someone of my particular background and convictions, I liked the idea After I read "Celtic Minded", I loved the idea I think, perhaps, that the team is even more of a symbol for people like us in the diaspora... those of us whose ancestors had to flee the old country but who never forgot it, never stopped supporting it... those of us who have never become so ignorant to dress up as idiotic caricatures on March 17th of every year... it's quite beautiful
For sure. It's a symbol of the diaspora, it doesn't have much relevance to the irish today. To them Celtic FC & Diaspora irishness generally's a shallow pastiche since the religion, the music, the politics & the sense that our relatives overcame obstacles important enough to be remembered/honoured were all that really survived anywhere and pretty much nothing else. It's an embattled, stunted, minority experience. And Celtic are a capsule preserving those distinctly (and limitingly) diaspora elements from generation to generation more strongly than any other vehicle. That's simultaneously why there are more Celtic supporters clubs around the world than any other football club, but at the same time why they aren't that big in the republic itself......I think most irish feel the same 2nd hand connection/affection to Celtic as the diaspora feel to modern Ireland. Plenty fans come over from the Republic for big games but i'm not sure they can can really feel what the club's about in the same way. That said, Celtic are definitely much bigger in the 6 counties (and also donegal) for obvious reasons.
I think that last is also why sympathy for the cause of the catholics in the six counties runs VASTLY HIGHER in the disapora than it does in the republic... not saying there aren't very conscientous people in the republic, but the majority seem to me to have forgotten how things were pre-1922 and have little regard for their brothers in the North... I also take great umbrage at the attitudes many in the republic have towards anyone in the diaspora... they think all of us love leprechauns and shillelaghs and know nothing... it drives me berserk when someone resorts to that shit
I do and I want to see Liverpool win tonight, or at least put it out a team that tries to win. Liverpools away form in all competitions has been poor over the last 2 years.
It's all natural. I wouldn't get annoyed about it. In a way they're totally right - a guy whos never been to Ireland really knows fuck all about Irishness in 2011 and shouldn't be expected to/pretend to and they know nothing about the cultural experience of the diaspora and shouldn't be expected to/pretend to. Those in the 6 counties are in the middle of both but must seem a million miles away from a guy from Cork, he has no experience of the negativity they've went through. Everyone should just be respectful of each other and agree that Rangers are fucking shite ::
Celtic away to Hibs tonight. Important for Lennon that we get through tonight but with 9 first team players out injured including our entire defense & a litany of shocks in the competition already......urgh. Might go either way.
