From what i've seen of vazquez, he hasn't impressed me.

vasquez jr is the guy who lost to an old, small arce. donaire needs to start facing some guys his size in their prime. who are actually good

 

He's one fight removed from knocking out the 2nd best guy in his division in two rounds. A more impressive feat than your boy's managed for about 10 fucking years.

i like arce so i really dont care to see him outmatched and KOd in a few brutal rounds vs a guy way too big, young and skilled at this point in time

 

there's an article by steve kim on maxboxing about too sharp and how he should be inducted into HOF.

 

cliff rold obviously wasnt paying close enough attention to boxing in the mid 90s if he thinks there are guys on the ballot aside from hearns who were better fighters than johnson.

 

myung woo yuh deserves to get inducted first. he would've outworked johnson over 15, especially in korea.

yuh seems to have good credentials. but to anyone who has seen both guys box, your second sentence is hilarious. a 15 fight johnson from the raton jiminez wouldve beat yuh in '93. prime for prime, no contest no matter the continent.

 

yuh had a tremendous workrate, great chin, underrated handspeed and would've had the crowd and judges behind him! johnson would've also suffered from food poisoning and loses a lopsided decision.
