Lies!! We beat Brentford! :: The QPR-Celtic friendlies are great fun though, one of my favourite fixtures, even though we haven't won one yet and the last one I went to we lost 7-3 ::. I think we'd give you a bit of a pasting now though :crafty:
For QPR - best player I've seen live was Sir Les. Gallen and Tarbs are up there, I liked Mike Sheron too. Best overall would be Henrik.
:cheer: Henrik came back for a charity testimonial the other month and it was honestly the best Celtic performance I'd seen since he retired. :: That boy was such a dream boat *breathy sigh*
In the 7-3 game we had, we were actually giving you a really good go of it. We were 4-3 down, Gallen was giving your defenders HELL. Then you brought on Larsson and Sutton and they tore our defensive pairing of Shittu and Doudou (not making that up ::) to absolute shreds. Different class. What did you make of Sutton by the way, Hut?
A cracking foil for Henrik......we played pretty direct with him and Henrik's movement off him brought the whole game open. That sells him a bit short, to be fair, he was a really intelligent player in his own right in terms of his positional sense - a surprisingly good midfielder and defender too which is a weird versatility for a traditional english 'target man'. I remember him playing a blinder in 'the hole' in a big european game once.....I think it was when we beat Valencia in the UEFA cup in 2002. Was never a huge fan favourite, which was a shame. Henrik and Moravcik got all the luuv
I see all the maggots, the career fuck-ups are coming out of the wall to have their say on this "Racism" saga. Fuck Anton Ferdinand and John Terry in equal measure. We all know Ferdinand is a cunt anyways. Big hoot for Liverpool also, I got banned from the LFC forums last night for complaining about how bad Liverpool had been playing. The Dalglish Worship at that place verges on Idolatry. Not everyone gets a come-from-behind-win at Stoke.
I've been banned from more Celtic forums than I could name off hand. Football forum goers are a genuinely odd bunch.
Football Forums are for people with Daddy and Mammy issues. Its like...."Mummy beat me with a slipper and now I am banning you" ....its why I got onto Caligula {albeit by challenging him to a showdown} when he, perhaps inadvertently by his words, began to replicate the standards of those shit forums. Me: "Dalglish has failed to address the age old issue of killing off games" Mod: "you are banned".
For shits and giggles, I should join a Celtic forum as "LennyMurphyP4P#1" or a Rangers site as "JoeMcCannFuckingRuled"
My Dad and his mate used to take me to QPR when I was a kid. I loved watching the likes of Trevor Sinclair, Andy Impey and Kevin Gallen play, but Sir Les was the main man I wanted to see, and he never let me down.

FERDINAND WARY OF SPURS THREAT Posted on: Fri 28 Oct 2011 Anton Ferdinand is relishing the R's trip to White Hart Lane - the home of Tottenham Hotspur - this weekend and can't wait to lock horns with 'one of the best' strikers in the Barclays Premier League. Ferdinand has been in sublime form for Neil Warnock's men since his summer move from Sunderland, but he is only too aware of the threat posed by Spurs hit-man Emmanuel Adebayor on Sunday. "Sunday is another big test for us.'' "It's another London derby and for me personally, another great challenge against some top, top front players. "Adebayor is up there with the best. "You don't play for the Clubs he's played for and achieve what he's achieved, scoring so many goals along the way, without being a top-class player." Ferdinand believes Luca Modric, who Spurs managed to retain this summer despite substantial bids from Chelsea, will also be one to watch, adding: "Modric was fantastic last year - as he has been since he signed for Tottenham. "He's carried that form on so far this season, but it's not just about him. "Tottenham are a great side, heading in the right direction. They're a Club we can learn from." Ferdinand believes the 3,000-plus travelling R's faithful will have a role to play at White Hart Lane this weekend, commenting: "As I said when I joined the Club, I've been in there with the QPR fans - I've sat in the Loft watching Sir Les. "I know what QPR fans are all about. "When you're playing for the Club, it takes it to another level though. "The fans have been great and I'm sure they saw last Sunday what it means to the players too. "The fans were our twelfth man on Sunday, but they've been like that from start to finish, so it didn't surprise me. "We'll need that level of support again on Sunday and I don't doubt for one minute that they'll provide it."
