Despite his Limitations, Cintron's NOT the Easiest Fighter in the World to Handicap...Just Ask Alfredo Angulo...If Canelo Wins DECISIVELY, it Should HUSH Some of the Critics a Bit....

I think Cintron is quite a bit worse than when he beat Angulo. He looked scrubby and listless in his recent loss to that half decent fighter whose name I forget.

this has become a common misconception. if not for that fight everyone would pretty much agree cintron is a piece of shit.

thing is, angulo was about 50% of himself since he had driven from los angeles to florida the week of the fight, by himself

REED Isn't Necessarily DOUBTING this is the Case, but @ the Same Time, Angulo HASN'T Pursued a RE, to REED's Recollection...If Angulo was THAT Compromised by Pre-Fight Drama, he Should WANT to Set the Record Straight, Shouldn't He???...

50% of Boxing Fans R CONVINCED that Canelo is Nathan More than HYPE...Cintron will @ Least Provide a CLEARER Picture of what we Should Expect from Canelo, Down the Road....

For what it's worth, Angelo claims to have pursued a rematch.

Angulo always wanted a rematch. Shaw steered him clear of it, and then the immigration issues and their strained relationship put his career on hold.

I don't know - Cintron is only a fight or two removed from looking like shit against and completely outclassed by tough but ordinary Carlos Molina. I don't expect much from him next month, especially traveling to Mexico. In fact, I'd be surprised if at some point he doesn't find a way to quit.

Cintron is over the hill. Not that he was an elite, even in his "prime". But the version of Kermit that say destoyed Matthyse, would be a highly dangerous for Ginger.

Now..... I'll say Ginger either stops him late, or like Jake said..... Froggy quits.

I agree completely. Although, word during the fight was that Angulo was sick, be it that or that it was the long drive, either way anyone with eyes could clearly see Angulo wasn't himself and even then he nearly pulled the fight out in the end when Kermit's physical and mental weaknesses had him hanging on for dear life.

Jake's right too, that Angulo did try very hard to get the Cintron rematch. I think he even mentioned it during a post fight interview on HBO.
