World Boxing was always a better magazine than The Ring and KO, IMO.

KO was the weakest except for the fact that they used to have full page pics of a fighter which was cool if you met them and got it signed.

Back in the day when I was a huge fan of the sport I had subscriptions to all 4 of the boxing publications (KO, The Ring, World Boxing, and another that I can't remember). I started in the 90's and kept the subscriptions going til about 6 years ago and I still have everyone of those magazines in a box in my closet.

Was it the British publication? Boxing Monthly?

I too used to get all of the ones you've mentioned, plus Boxing Monthly. But I'd buy them at the book-store. I actually miss the excitement of going to the book-store and finding all of the new issues sitting on the shelf.

I forget if it were World Boxing or KO, but one of the two had a kind of head-to-head, mythical match-up section that I liked.

Not much chance of me hitting an IED since I never leave the base. You'd have a better shot of the plane taking me home nose diving in for maintenance repairs. Especially since many of the contracted planes are so old they have freaking ashtrays in the arm rests still. I had 2 planes break on my way there, 1 in Baltimore and 2 in Italy. It was cool getting a free night at a nice hotel, though, especially in Italy.

As for the will, I wish there was a way I really could give you those mags if something happened to me. It'd be nice to know they went to someone who'd appreciate it, and you've always come off as a cool dude.

Yeah I think it was boxing monthly and I know just how you feel about the excitement. I used to have the same excitement checking my mail hoping there'd be a new copy of one my magazines.
