Yeah neat. I just posted my prediction in the prediction thread, I genuinely hadn't seen the fight or even known it was on yet. Its only 10:30pm in Russia. An hour ago I was downstairs watching boxnation and they were still talking about the Guillermo Jones fight so.....I assumed this as yet to happen.
In a few years Toney is going to be a high-profile damage case. He's fucked. He's going to be slobbering and shaking and have bigger tits than the Goossen Sisters.
He was already slobbering and shaking in the Lebedev fight, every time he threw the trademark counter right hand he'd miss and do a 360
wtf was this fight about? i haven't been following Toney the fight was at CRUISER??? when Toney weighed 257 for the previous fight 10months ago :scratcher::scratcher::scratcher:
Toney was sounding worse than ever in interviews leading up to the fight. I'm glad he wasn't stopped though, and hope he retires. Toney is one of the toughest fuckers to lace up the gloves, and I don't want him to have that late career stoppage loss.

Kostya Tszyu is still a shrewd operator, he hasn't changed a bit. The same "don't be rude" manner of dealing with anything. Roberto Duran fans look away now........:: Kostya Tszyu is an idol in Russia despite emigrating to Australia and basing his career from there. Lebedev’s fight against Roy Jones showed Tszyu understands what physical and mental buttons to push. Tszyu was also on the receiving end of Toney barbs but, as he did as a fighter, discounted the comments. “Let him bark. It’s even better for us. I loved when my opponents talked so much. I won’t reveal you any tactical secrets but Denis will box in such way that James Toney will feel bad for himself.” Then Tszyu contradicted himself somewhat, expounding on that thought. “It’s not about a knockout. If you humiliate an outstanding boxer, it’s even better for you. If you remember Roberto Duran in his second fight with Sugar Ray Leonard, he issued a ‘No Mas,’ that is how bad he was humiliated by Leonard. He couldn’t sustain those jeers any longer. We shall try to do the same with James Toney.”
Toney will more than likely be just like Holy, totally delusional and thinking he can still win it all
Pretty sad that Roy was far more competitive against Lebedev (which is to say that he was competitive at all) than Toney. I liked James once upon a time but his schtick grew old once it turned into roid rage a few years ago. Now it's just sad - but in a no-tears-shed kinda way
I refuse to watch this version of toney. Back in the day, he was quality to watch, but I don't want to see a fat blob version in the ring gettin' soundly beaten over 12 rounds. Fair play to him tho for losing the weight.
Might be a bit late to save the last brain cells he had left, damn man <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mxAe7N9W9rw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
ointlaugh:ointlaugh:ointlaugh:ointlaugh: Sub-titles make it. I mean, what is toneys major malfunction? This is a guy who goes on about how Goossen-Tutor promotions is taking over......then he calls Rampage an Uncle Tom. :dunno:
I wasn't sure, I was going to call Urkal because it would have been natural for Jim Gray to be pumped about how "Bad" Tsyzu had looked going the distance with Urkal.
Some Irish cunt who's the CEO of Quantas crashed the entire economy,.. but thankfully,.. an awesome left-wing Irish cunt in the senate tore the Dublin-rat bastard a new arse. :bears: The transition from a militant racist like Toney, to the Angel of Arkansas, Jermaine Taylor,.. is an equivalent transaction, when you see a good sort give it a wolf whistle.
Get back to work, slacker...... I went out to cycle some miles yesterday and when I got back I saw the meter-man coming down the road to check my electricity box. We had a chat about his job and the hours he was doing, he then told me all about his collective bargaining agreements back in the 1970's, how his father used to work for Lord Powerscourt in Ireland, how his father was always referred to by just his surname....Lord Powerscourt referred to him as "Byrne..."....so things have improved...now get back to work.:nana: Of course, Massuh Toney and Massuh Taylor are birds of a different feather, not every bit of cheese cut from the same block stinks quite the same, agreed, agreed.
