Only Bute can make a fight with Johnson this dull. Terrible, terrible waste of an hour of my life. Fucking terrible.

Let the record reflect that Bute is WANK. He is the most overrated, over-protected FRAUD in boxing today. Honestly, I hate this cunt. He's a disgrace.

Bute wins about 10-2 in a complete snorefest. Barely landed anything of note on an old man who couldn't punch properly. Total shite.

Can you imagine how many feints he and Froch would throw at each other?

    Froch would whup Bute's ass.

I think so too.Bute is dreadfully average.

Indeed, his style is very boring unless he can catch you with the odd bomb that he throw from weird angles. But, as much as I hate him, he's not a bad fighter, he uses distance very well and will be hard for anyone to beat at 168lbs right now.

FINALLY, you make sense to me :rock1:

Starngely, Johnson landed the cleaner shots, he just had no power on his punches

Bute needs to stay in Canada and keep fighting stiffs and has-beens. Ward and Froch would pummel him. Badly.

I agree. Bute landed next to nothing but Johnson has lost his ability to get his punches extended properly. All the snap has gone. When he (Johnson) landed, and he probably threw more and landed more, they were taps, rather than blows.

Bute is overrated. I think Frock would throw him a beating too.

He is tall and rangy but he has fought no-one. His best wins are Andrade (shite), Magee (shite) and Johnson (ancient). His reach and height won't help him against Froch, who would walk through him and KO him, and Ward, who would rough him up and stop him also.

A prime Jones jnr would laugh at Bute and win. Literally, this would have been all he would need to do to beat this Bum.

The farmer would walk through Bute and put a beating on him. He's fucking shit.

To whoever has this chump ranked at No.1 at 168lb: hang you heads. This fraud is suppposedly the best supermiddle according to Boxing News, Boxing Monthly, Boxrec...

Disgusting. I hope he gets in with Frock, Ward or even Kessler. He's ship a beating.

I think that Froch is just too much of a man for Bute and would win, but I wouldn,t be shocked if Bute take it. And come on, Ward doesn't stop anyone, he'd probably win, and win big, but as usual, he'd be never close of a stoppage

I don't think Ward KO's him. I think he'd butt him, rough him up and take Bute's heart from him.

Allan Green just won a wide UD vs Sebastian Demers in a fight that, from all account, could have gone either way. Was nearly koed too. Poor Green, it's definitively is over for him

 When did I say he was?

Haven't seen the fight yet, but I'd like to point out that Froch was far from impressive vs. Johnson.

:l3: I was rambling, man. Sorry.

Yep, totally concur with you tho. Bute is not that good, at all.

This fight was always going to be a stinker, I cannot see how this was approved for cable. The Bute/Montreal show has become very boring, its time for a fight where the odds are not stacked as high in his favor.

By the way, from post-fight quotes [taken from fightnews]:

Johnson felt the bout was closer than the statistics or the scorecards indicated. “I thought I won the fight. I don’t think he was landing anything.â€
Regarding his hesitation to throw more power shots, Johnson said, “My right arm swelled up in about the fourth round so I couldn’t throw my big right hand. I basically beat him with one hand.†Johnson displayed the swelling on his upper right forearm to the SHOWTIME cameras to help support his claim.
Canadian judges Benoit Roussel and Pasquale Procopio scored the bout 120-108 and 119-109, respectively. “It’s tough winning the fights on the road in these guys’ hometowns,†said Johnson after the bout. However, even American judge Jerry Roth scored a 120-108 shutout for Bute.

Johnson needs to change the record, he may have had reason to complain earlier in his career but nowadays he won't even admit when he's lost when he was barely competitive. I think its great he got his paydays, but game over now, I don't care to see him on HBO or Showtime anymore.
