    Do you really think he should be fighting Morales? Is Morales a respectable oppnent in your opinion?

    Even with a big boxing weekend with Mexican Independence Day being in Sept, do you see Floyd fighting just 4 months after his last fight?

    I can see it being a November or December fight.

    I think a Khan fight is in May.

    i think it would sell a little better than hatton and malignaggi, morales used to be great, but still a pointless fight even so:cheer:

    It will be Khan.

    I think this is PBF's strategy - let out rumors that he's going to fight the likes of Matthew Hatton, or geriatric Morales so that when the time comes to introduce the actual opponent, and it's JMM, or some other promotionally convenient opponent and little else (in this case Khan), it will be a pleasant surprise to those of us with short attention spans.

  7. Perhaps...or maybe it's to face Pacquiao! :kidcool:

    Give it up mate, it ain't happening when Floyd can make as much money fighting no hopers.

  9. I disagree!!! :flip:

    Floyd is a proud man. if the fight doesn't happen it will be because of Pac and Arum, not Floyd.

    Floyd hasn't taken a fight for pride since the Castillo rematch. 9 years. He's proud of being able to throw handfuls of money around in a club like king douche, but that's as far as it goes.

    Seriously! For PBF, simply looking into the camera and saying, "I don't duck or dodge nobody," has satisfied his pride fully.

    I don't know where D&D gets off calling PBF a proud man.

    Just spoke to Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy & asked him about the Mayweather-Morales nonsense. His response: 'It is absolutely not true.'

    I had serious doubts about it too, especially since it came from Arum the liar.

    If the Morales fight actually happens (it won't), I am imagining the spin that Floyd fans will try to put on it.

    Absolutely. If Floyd were fighting for pride, the Pac fight would have already happened.

    Mayweather/Pac will never happen and another nail will be hammered into the coffin of this rapidly deteriorating sport

    And we take another step closer to robot boxing. And even then Robot Mayweather will choose the path of least resistance.

    Arim is full of shit as usual. More from Dan Rafael:

    Let's get this straight: The whole 'Mayweather's gonna fight Morales' thing is NOT TRUE. Complete nonsense. (more) #boxing

    @danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
    According to @GoldenBoyBoxing matchmaker @makeawar he was asked by a Mexican reporter last week if Morales could maybe fight Floyd (more)

    @danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
    The response was that, sure, Erik would like to fight Floyd. Erik always wants the best but Floyd is in position to pick his opponents(more)

    @danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
    The FACT (not internet rumor nonsense) is that NOBODY from Mayweather's camp has brought up Mayweather fighting Morales. Simply not true.

    @danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
    Golden Boy represents Morales and works with Floyd and according to GB there has been NO discussion of them fighting. It won't happen.

    @danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
    If Mayweather was looking to fight Morales I'd be all over him. But he is not. Simple as that. #boxing

    @danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
    Don't blame @FloydMayweather when he's done NOTHING wrong. So Morales wants to fight him. Wonderful? Every boxer on earth does. It means $$

    A decade ago Mayweather-Morales would have been interesting at 130. Not in 2012 at 147. But it's not happening. #boxing

  22. You are an idiot.

  23. Yup. Pac and Arum had absolutely nothing to do with it. :wack:

    Sorry...I can't hear you with Floyd's balls in your mouth. According to dumb fucks like you, Morales "would be an ok opponent...plus he beat Pac....plus who else is Floyd gonna fight???"

    Maybe you can't hear...but can you read, motherfucker?

    Floyd stopped fighting for pride YEARS ago.

    Hearing or reading...you are still sucking Floyd's balls. And if the Morales fight actually takes pace, you will get a taste of his as well in the attempt to make Morales a credible opponent.

  28. I would never make Morales a credible opponent. I would be more critical of Floyd than you would be.

    I do believe that Mosley and Ortiz were legit opponents for Floyd at the time that he fought them, only idiots (like you) would disagree. Better to stay active and fight Welterweight titlists if you can't get the Manny fight for whatever reasons...than just wait and wait.

    Morales is different. He's a SHOT former Featherweight...he has no business in the ring with Mayweather.

    And this "sucking Floyd's balls" stuff is beneath you. Levae that for the kids on the forum. You're an elder statesman.

    As usual...lies. You would try to find a way to pump up anyone Floyd fights.

  30. Can you read? Can you comprehend?

    What possible argument could I use to make Morales a credible opponent.

    Ortiz and Mosley (which were the matchups I defended) WERE credible opponents. Marquez wasn't as credible...but was forgivable because he was on a strong of impressive victories and it was Floyd's warm up fight after long inactivity.

    Morales is a completely different kettle of fish from even Marquez.
    You are boring by the way.
