Who....Ann Wolfe? No woman could beat me in a boxing ring. not a chance. Even at my advanced age of 39. :shadow:

 

Wouldn't you like to see a rematch? And expect it to go down differently, but just as exciting, if Angulo doesn't punch himself out again?

 

I'm not sure it would go differently as long as the same Kirkland shows up to fight. He might go longer, but he'd still be applying that pressure and volume punching with good power. That takes a toll on a person, and Kirkland would be building on his momentum with greater confidence. He really beat the fight out of Angulo.

 

It's easy to talk about it, but until you've been in there with even a half-decent amateur, you'd realize there are levels of ability and skill that an armchair boxer cannot pick up or make up in a short period of time with just superior strength.

You're a strong guy, sly. Fairly athletic too, but I think she would have you gasping like a fish out of water after a few rounds. 3 tops, and you'd be arm-and-shoulder-weary. Keep in mind she was a simultaneous four-weight division champion with a 75% KO percentage against other female boxers.

There are just simply some women that tough and skilled. Don't worry though, she's retired! ::

Yup, need a rematch of this one. We didn't really get to see the fight play out a more natural progression. In fact one of the only things the HBO crew got right among all of Max's hyperbolic screams of it being one of the greatest fights ever, is that the Ishida fight helped Kirkland, in that Angulo put TOO MUCH out there too early, thinking he'd repeat the same thing.

Of course now the fightbeat conglamorate is busy re-vamping their favorite fighters lists putting Kirkland in the top 3 and speculating on weight jumps and title fights. The same guy that was given a "0.5%" chance to win based on him having a human chin, so a rematch is all but off the table. What would be the point in a bum like Angulo rematching someone of Kirkland's class after all ??

 

If I try to box with her, she'd beat me up fo sho. Have me gassed and all that shit. My strategy would be to BUM RUSH her (literally and figuratively ::) . I don't think she could hang with me in an all out slugfest. I can't imagine women being able to take it to the body...even if they could take it to the head.

 

I think if I ran into Wolfe I'd try to fuck her. Not that she's hot or anything but I can't think of a better way of avoiding getting my ass kicked by a chick.
