Killer effects.... VERY, VERY shitty singing, whoever this guy is. I don't even like this fuckin' song (Eye of the Tiger) but sorely miss the original right now.

Being a Marquez fan, I feel a bit guilty watching this fight. I think Manny is going to dominate Marquez and knock him out early.

    Pacquiao-Marquez III
    Round 1

Pacquiao at center ring before opening bell sounds. Both fighters circling to each other's left, offering little more than a jab. Pacquiao lands left hand to Marquez' chest. Lots of upper body movement, but not a lot of punches. Crowd alternates chants. Marquez throws and misses with a combination, Pacquiao lands an uppercut. Marquez lands body shots.

    Round 1: Pacquiao 10-9 (10-9)

I figured it was, but it doesn't make this version any shittier.

    Pacquiao-Marquez III
    Round 2

Marquez fans offering soccer chant as their fighter lands a right hand. Sold-out crowd getting a little restless over there being more movement than punches so far. Pacquiao lands a left, draws a raucous applause. Marquez offers left, Pacquiao counters. Marquez lands to body, straight right, left uppercut. Pacquiao lands left hand, Marquez counter right short. Pacquiao lands combo, darts out of harms way immediately thereafter. Pacquiao lands right hook, Marquez missed wildly with counter right.

    Round 2: Pacquiao (though close) 10-9 / 20-18

  24. Jake

    Pacquiao-Marquez III
    Round 3

Nacho tells Marquez to sit on his punches more. Lederman and Kellerman gave Marquez the round, I don't really disagree as I saw it as very close. Pacquiao lands left hand, Marquez scores with right hand on inside. Pac coming forward, Marquez sliding backwards but lands with jab. Marquez throwing and missing. Pac just short with left hand, lands counter left after getting hit with a right. Pac lands left but with little conviction. Marquez misses, Pacquiao charges forward but doesn't let his hands go. Very strange fight so far. Pacquiao lands right jab, straight left, wisely covers up. Pacquiao lands right hook, and then a counter left at the bell.

    Round 3: Pacquiao 10-9 / 30-27

Yep, Marquez is definitely doing better than I expected. Something about his style just really troubles Pacquiao.

a surprisingly nervy, terse encounter here

  28. Jake

Jake WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

    Pacquiao-Marquez III
    Round 4

Lederman has it 29-28 through three. Again, I don't disagree and am second guessing my scoring of the 2nd round. Both fighters trade, first time in fight we see hint of their rivalry from first two fights. Pacquiao lands right hand while in conventional stance before flipping back to southpaw. Marquez lands to body. Lands left hook to body, complains of headbutt. Pacquiao paws with jab, lands straight left. Lands jab, misses with left. Pac lands lead left, shoots jab, changes angle, lands two more jabs. Rare booing surfaces but changes to cheers after Pac lands left and Marquez right hand counter. Lampley desperate to suggest this fight is about to take off, screaming "HERE WE GO" over one exchange. Sheesh.

    Round 4: Pacquiao 10-9 / 40-36
