Watching him last night, he's made for a short, compact counter-puncher who can bang on the inside. Jerry Quarry would have taken him out in a round. Pie-Check had the right idea, crowd him and work on the inside inside his big octopus arms.

As it happens, I have my mind made up about Fury. He got a decision over John McDermott that he didn't earn and he was close to defeat in the 2nd fight before John ran out of steam, as much from the hard fights he had in the past with Williams and the like.

Chisora is one of the worst British champions for years, at Heavyweight or any other weight. He got out of scheduled murder vs Wlad and was manifestly fat for the Fury fight and still nearly won.

Fury is heavy-handed in the Valuev sense of he word. He's so big that most of these guys can't help but feel the weight of his shots. Even at that, he's not really dehumanizing anyone, he's stopping guys, but he's not dehumanizing them. He's never sparked anyone of any quality, never figured anyone out, just ape-man shots.

I gave him a chance but it now seems he is not taking the game seriously outside of the ropes. He is going to have to be matched very very carefully henceforth.

is rahman still fighting, hes a guy who could spark him right out, fighting on the inside? both chisora and fury looked like they should of been in a pie eating competition, in that embarrassment of a british title fight

Fury is 6'9" and he still looks fat. So that means he is really really fat. Fury IS a guy who is only winning fights because of his size. What irks me more than anything else is the entire apologetic circle that circles sycophantically about the chap. An example of course: before last-nights fight, Kevin Mitchell of the Guardian was loudly declaring that this Pay-Check guy couldn't punch for shit. When Pay-Check had punched the shit out of Fury, Mitchell quickly changed his tack to declare that Tyson was the most exciting heavyweight in boxing. Neat change of tack there.

The lad is garbage and what little natural talent he has is being frittered away in a haze of Clubs Oranges, Club Milks and Night Clubs.

He spoke in a interview saying how overweight he used to be in fights, and said how ashamed he was of his weight going into fights, but last night he didnt look any different. lol

Of course he would, Helenius had a long amateur career while Fury is still a novice. It shows. If the two ever fought I'd cheer for Fury

Yep, that Eubs 2 would beat Chunky down, worse than Groves did.

I think Chunky would sooner campaign at 200+ rather than face this cat.

He needs to fight Eubank II.

If they don't fight, we will never know who the best Black-Dad-White-Mom fighter in Britain really is.

We need this fight, now that Haye has retired. The title is vacant.

Back at the time of the McDermott fights, Fury was not taking boxing seriously at all.
