Well, it's not. There's fundamental differences between what JMM does and what PBF does. And these differences are significant enough that to say that everything JMM does, PBF can do better is simply ridiculous.

    Dude...

I hear what you're saying as no two fighters are the same, but the way to look at it is this: what things does JMM do that gives Pacquiao fits?

    1. Fast and well timed counters
    2. Ring Generalship
    3. Unpredictable agression

Does he do any of those things better than Floyd?

Add to that hat Floyd is taller, rangier, stronger, looks to have a better chin, faster hands....and Pacquiao has all manner of problems. Floyd even matches Marquez for stamina.

You gave it your best shot. You tried to lay the ground-work for a PBF virtual victory over Pacquiao, and it didn't take. It's time for you to retreat now REED. We're not buying it.

they have completely different foot-work. fight in a different ryhthm. even if PBF, "looks to have a better chin," which is questionable, this is pure speculation on your part.

also, unpredictable aggression is not what JMM employed against Pacquiao. he employed counter-punching, which means he was willing to trade with Pacquiao and punch with him. PBF has showed time and time again an unwillingness to do this.

also, like Pacquiao, PBF has been fighting 147 pounders. JMM, on the other hand, has been fighting light-weights. PBF will be trobled more by Pacquiao's hand-speed than JMM was.

Whether you thought JMM won or not, he took a lot of shots on the face in order to deliver his counters. That isn't PBF's game.

Again, you're over-simplifying. The suggestion that PBF is somehow JMM+ is just silly. There's very little similar about the two.

Even if we may not agree with everything said, specifics and point observations are always good.

Also makes for better reading compared to hackneyed and simplistic "Fighter A does everything better than Fighter B who gave Fighter C all he could handle. Therefore, Fighter A would undoubtedly dominate Fighter C."

I pick Floyd to KO manny for different reasons. Sure Floyd and Marquez share some of the same attributes but they are very different fighters. Floyd is 100% defensive minded (unless you're dropping your hands in front of him).

Marquez is a mixture of aggression and counterpunching.

Floyd has better speed on the front end (leading) and back end (countering) than Marquez.

Floyd isn't going to give up ground and backpedal like Marquez spent so much time doing.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd stalking Manny or simply standing his ground waiting for Manny to come in.

I see Floyd controlling Manny with the jab then catching him with a right uppercut as Manny lunges in to throw the straight left.

    Or

Floyd could catch manny with a check hook as Manny comes in.

Either way, I can't see how Manny doesn't run himself into a KO punch which is why I'd said I see Floyd taking Manny out like Manny took out Hatton. Floyd KO's Manny by letting Manny do what he normally does...which is exactly how Manny KO'd Hatton.

Based on both recent form and probable form by the time they do fight (if ever), i'd pick Floyd to beat Manny by decision btw.

I'm Glad Manny didn't blow out JMM, if he would have the Floyd fight would never ever happen. Looking ordinay is the best thing that could have happened. Mayweather should have enough balls now.

manny is the same fighter as before. manny struggled with jmm in 08 and 11. he hasnt improved at all. just his opponents inbetween were all on the downside and handpicked.

The "Floyd has no balls" is a hilarious myth. If anything, his looking ordinary will reduce Floyd's motivation to fight him.

Even if Floyd stops being a twat and pushes harder for the fight, I get the feeling that Arum will kill it.

Before Saturday, I considered it a 60/40 fight in favor of Floyd. Now I think it's more like 70/30, 75/25.

When has Floyd fought someone based on his looking bad in the fight prior to Floyd trying to sign the fight?

De La Hoya? (knocked out Mayorga)
    Corrales? (Knocked out Manfredy)
Castillo? (knocked out some lightweight cunt)
Hatton? (Knocked out Castillo...the collazzo fight occured AFTER Floyd went after him)
    Mosley? (knocked out Margarito)
Ortiz? (beat unbeaten Berto in exciting fashion)

Zab judah is the only one....but Floyd wanted to fight Judah from the moment Judah had beaten Spinks fo rthe Undisputed title and he wa the big name at 147lbs at the time.

History's not on your side you ignorant cunt.
