Suarez has been charged with racial abuse, ostensibly solely on the word of Patrice Evra, despite there being no video or audio evidence of any of the 10 occasions on which this abuse is claimed to have taken place, and despite there being no shortage of footage of John Terry calling Anton Ferdinand a "Black Cunt".

 

That's messed. Terry quite clearly said it too, but nothing will happen because he's England captain

 

As I said, all the chums and pals will go to work, it will be smoothed over. The thing about this is that the FA will reduce it to a matter of context. Terry has landed them in it- the FA have been pointing the finger at all and sundry on the matter of racism and now it turns out that the captain of the England team has been caught on video engaging in what is widely regarded as having been racist behaviour. In addition to this, the complaint has been referred to the Police who to the best of my knowledge are still investigating the matter.

Suarez is alleged to have said something 10 times, but with no video evidence and with only Evra's word against him. LFC have instructed the press that Suarez will demand a personal hearing and will challenge the charge.
