I know it's supposed to be rough etc, but I had no idea it was just a complete shithole full of arseholes.

I've never tried it, stuff like that isn't too popular in England. People in England eat junk, but mainly just crisps and chocolate bars.

 

Philly has the University of Pennsylvania, at least one Ben Franklin statue, and a militant civil rights movement, and that's about it. Oh, and a pretty good baseball team.

Philly ain't that bad. Streets are laid out nice, easy to get around in and the Museum of Art (the one the Rocky statue was at), is very impressive (as long as you stay out of the modern art section).

The sports fans are just a little psycho.

It is as if someone took New York, took everything interesting and vibrant and essential about it away, dropped several bombs on it and then defecated all over the place

 

because, if you are going to travel anywhere south of Jersey, you will inevitably have to travel through Philadelphia

The Eagles are a disgrace... their fans are the worst people on Earth, they make Raider fans seem cool

You know why there is a Rocky statue and no Joe Frazier statue? because Philly's trashy white residents can't deal with some "Moolie" statue...

You know why the Phillies have been successful? because the people of Philadelphia don't care about them unless they are in the world series... so God has no reason to punish them for Philadelphia's sins... The Eagles will never win, because God has deemed it so, because Philadelphians are obsessed with that loser franchise... Philadelphia is worst than Boston... both envy New York, but Boston actually has some cool features, some real culture... Philadelphia's culture ends around 1787... outside of Joe Frazier, some terrific middleweights, Saad and Jeff Chandler, nothing worth a tin shit has ever come out of Philly

Cheese and Whiz the way to go in South Philly. I go downtown once in a while for the great hospitals there...(soy muy viejo)(I'm very old) and am a huge Phillies baseball fan so I go to the Citizens Bank a lot (Baseball Stadium to you foreigners). Since the Blue Horizon does not show fighting like the old days, and I never went to Alambra and the other smaller venues of Philly... I get most of my boxng in AC and New York. It is a tough town but luckily even at 64 I still can fight...after all..I'm half Boricua..born and raised in New York city.......GS

 

Sicilains have Black blood. Google....Also the Brothers are in control of Phillie. South Philly mob was shot apart decades ago..don't any of you watch "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO...lots of truth to it but New York blew away the Philly mob and Anestasia in the 80s....GS

The Bronx isn't even really a bad place anymore... If you had seen it (especially Morrisania area) in the 80s or the 70s you would have thought "people fucking LIVE there?????!!!!!" but its actually fairly nice now
