Lets say the Pedroza that masterfully took apart Patrick Ford vs the Nelson that masterfully took apart Gomez. Who wins?
Tough call, I'd lean ever so slightly towards Pedroza but thats not a sure pick... Nelson was more bothered in his prime by really strong guys who could back him up and had power... Pedroza was fit as could be, tireless and dirty but he wasn't a banger really... I could see it being a fight of shifting momentum... At times, Pedroza's relentless pace and energy swamp Nelson, but at other's Azumah's slick aggression and power rock Pedroza and force him back... I think it just comes down to who has more of those moments in the fight, really tough call
I think I'd be inclined to pick Nelson. Pedroza was BRILLIANT in the Ford fight, taking apart a technician boxer in masterful fashion. But in the face of Nelson's SKILLED, educated pressure and power, I think he loses a narrow decision.
