I think this order for Margarito means ultimately the fight will stay in NY. Too much political and financial pressure to let it go.

Commission passing the buck here. Seems to me it will find a doctor and that doctor will approve Margarito and then commission is shielded.

One thing we'll find out for sure in this fight is the effect Margarito's blows will have without the plaster.

Margarito still has heavy hands. He hurt Manny Pac when they fought. Reports are (Pac) was in a fetal position for a few days after the fight. The fucker unfortunately can punch hard.

Not really, he's not a true puncher, even with wraps. He has heavy-ish hands, similar to Cotto actually.

He hurt Pacquiao because it was a 154 pounder landing meaty bodyshots on someone with the frame of a featherweight.

The only thing we will find out is if Cotto can beat a Margarito with one eye.

Cut it out Joony! I shit in my pants. I plan to go to the fight at the Garden but Texas for me is out of the question. I won't leave the U.S. to see the fight. But it shows you how bad Tony's eye is...GS

since the 1st fight margarito has taken2 vicous beatings and many doctors are telling him his eye is too bad he should retire. against a fighter of cottos calibre that isnt going to help get the job done

Right? At every opportunity, MWS will always say how Manny is 118lbs and is only 4'10. :notallthere:

Seemingly so, I can't fucking believe joony is still behind that scumsucking cunt.

No, but he still has a featherweight frame. Did you see that fight? Pacquiao looked fucking tiny against Plasterito.

I hope this does stay in NY, in Texas the crowd would probably be on the scumbag's side.

No chance of that in NYC, though.

I'll be devastated if Cotto loses, but I have a feeling he wont disappoint.

Exactly, in NYC it's going to be almost all Ricans, that's why I really hope they get him cleared.

the margarito fight took something out of pacquiao. i think its the reason he has been less aggressive/fierce in his two subsequent outings.

This fight has be confused literally  Cotto hasn't looked great @154. It safe to say they are both Semi Shot but Margarito still has the chin/stamina to cause havoc.

I'm not sure he will honestly.

I think the fire is gone. Fighters like Margarito burn out. And as we can see from the eye problem, its having a big effect on his health.

I doubt he'll have the same punch resistance and energy that he did back in 08.
