Title is vacant. Usually when a title is vacant it's because nobody wants it, but the EBU title carries with it a mandatory top 10 ranking with the WBC, so...

......Helenius has done well to emphatically polish off other peoples leftovers with KO wins over Brewster, Peter and Lyakhovich.

Chisora for his part is best known for ending the career of Danny Williams, a brace of ultimately canceled fights with Wlad and for dropping a decision to Tyson Fury in which he surrendered his status as British and Commonwealth HW Champ.

Chisora said: "He's called the Nordic Nightmare, but he'll be having nightmares about me for the rest of his life after I've left him flat out on the canvas.

"I'll be fit and ready for this fight like never before, it's the big fight. I need to really get my juices flowing and performing like I know I can."

    Eh yeah OK lad.

Have to say I fancy Helenius for this one.

Chisora in his defence has tasted his own blood, a trait he shares with Joe Frazier.

I just want to see what weight he comes in at. He was weigh {ha ha} too heavy for the Fury fight. He says he is taking this seriously......truthfully I think he will get sparked. He remains the freshest fighter Helenius will have fought {Chisora has one 12rd defeat} but I think he punches too sporadically and too wide.

Chisora-Furry was a fun fight, although it was REALLY fucking sloppy.

Chisora wants to come in as he did for the Sexton rematch, he had decent speed, was in good shape, and was able to sustain a decent workrate. Against Furry he could only let his blubbery punches go in sporadic bursts.

Chisora fought last Friday (since according to the rules of EBU a title contender has to have a W from his last fight). Chisora had lost weight from the Fury fight, the fight itself was a bore as Chisora simply warmed up.

Dimitrenko got fucked by the EBU as they took away his title without a fight. Dimitrenko injured his shoulder, so either they didn't believe it or Sauerland just paid enough.

Helenius should beat Chisora fairly easily, considering how bad Chisora looked against Fury. Stylistically Chisora is another perfect opponent for Helenius: he comes forward and is there to be hit. Helenius doesn't have a great jab nor movement, but he hits very hard and can take a punch too. I'd pick him to win in about six rounds. Chisora though is a credible challenger and he has the hunger that Brewster, Peter and Liakovich had already lost.

In the same card (I am not sure which one is the main event now), ALexander Povetkin will defend his glorious WBA title against Cedric Boswell.

Wouldn't it be just grand if Helenius vs Chisora was the main event and the "World Title Fight" was on the undercard? It would be more than fitting.

Chisora punches a bit wide and a bit long. He'll need to roll in under Helenius right hand {he throws a lot of lead rights, maybe to compensate for his lack of jab} and let shots go in clusters.

I still fancy Helenius but we will see what sort of shape Chisora is in come fight-week.

Ay ay ay ay ay,.. remember the Peter fight though?.. I thoroughly believe the concrete snowman, who retains the carrot for the beak,.. was losing that one despite those German styled scorecards,.. if the sleeping beauty doesn't stop hibernating by the 9th round,.. expect the british press, not to mention the american press, taking a valid interest,.... you economic vandal.

Nothing new there. Mike Tyson's regular fight (against Mathis or McNeeley, not sure) was the main event for Bruce Seldon vs Joe Hipp heavyweight world championship bout.

Unlless Chisora eats himself fat in two weeks, he is in shape, if by shape we mean visible abs

Agreed. Valid Interest could be an option if there is the slightest hint, the slightest whiff of theft at all. As you know yourself, never fight in Finland....they'll kick your fucking ass. Apparently, the Russians couldn't even get a fair shake over there either. Have a look at these cards matey they seem a bit slanted to say the least.

The blood of Ghengis serves Finland well,..that was a waka pacman pinoy power bust out for our european asiatics. Suffice to say, it was no wonder why the reds decided to counter-punch the krauts after that, or 'huns' to thier horror.

I think the Finns are just plain blanks, mate, just plain biscuit, plain bread as it were. Not even a hint of butter or nutella.

Yeah well not Helenius, the peuse swedish immigrant. But Finnish natives, they face a huge struggle in the embryo as to what will pop out.
