Shogun vs. Henderson?

Henderson is such a weird fighter, because he always looks small. I can't believe he's fought at heavyweight. He looks like a small 185 pounder to me.

 

Rua's chin is good, because Hendo is fucking laying it on him.

Hendo definitely deserved the decision, he won the first 3 rounds clear.

 

but the last round was prob a 10-8 for SHogun. Round 2 might have been a 10-8 for Hendersson.

Yeah, if round 5 was a 10-8, then round 2 should have been too. Hendo won pretty clearly IMO, it's just that you often remember the most recent round, which was obviously Rua's best round by far.

 

Holy shit what a fight. The decision was exactly right. A one point win for Hendo.

Man, that ranks up there with the best ever.

 

Hendo is an awesome fighter, underrated.

He's a tough bastard with fuck loads of stamina, and strong as an ox.

PS - Dan's height must be exaggerated. He is listed at 6'1, there's no way that's true. Rua is also listed at 6'1 and looked to have 2 inches on Dan at least. Bisping also looked significantly taller.

 

It's really amazing when you think about it. The dude is 41 and is literally one of the top 2 or 3 Light Heavies on the planet. And he would be even money or better to beat anyone at 185 short of Silva.

He has definitely changed his style over the last couple years to put himself in position to be able to stand in the pocket and throw that right hand.

 

By the way, I've got to say, Rua-Henderson might have been the 2nd best fight of the night.

If you didn't watch the Bellator title fight tonight between Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler, you should. It was actually a better fight just not on the same stage.

 

Rua fought a very stupid fight. Trading punches with Henderson is retarded.

Honestly, Shogun looked ok to me. He was a little bit swollen in the belly, but his cardio was good. He just decided to trade with a puncher and paid dearly for it.

 

I like Henderson, but we gotta be honest and realize that some of his late carreer sucess is due to Hormone Therapy Replacement

 

Either way it wouldn't make Jones' win any better...
