Calzaghe definitely. McClellan would have his hands full with Kessler. He isnt beating Calzaghe. Would be interesting when McClellan first drops the hammer, though.
Its a bad style match up for McClellan and Calzaghe did have a reliable set of whiskers, but I think itd be a touch naive to totally dismiss McClellan's chances. The guy had NUCLEAR punching power.
McClellan would be the most dangerous man Joe fought by an absurd margin. Fit and healthy (lets remember his only loss came due to a fucking BRAIN INJURY! Nobody ever even acknowledges that) I'd probably pick G-man.
McClellan liked room though, and thats a luxury you have to work VERY hard for against Calzaghe. I think odds are he gets totally swamped and suffocated out of this.
Calzaghe is not an all-time great And guys who punched like women by comparison to McClellan hurt him... HUt is not wrong that he'd be the most dangerous opponent he ever was in with by a country mile
I'll be the odd one out and take McClellan by KO. The same right hand the ghosts of Bhop and RJJ dropped Calzaghe with would have ended Calzaghe's night if it had come from McClellan.
If Cory Spinks' jab had instead been George Foreman's right cross, he would have KOd Mayorga in the first
The Hopkins knockdown was a half push and he wasn't hurt. The RJJ punch was a freak KD. And Wa Wa Wa, Bernard lost man, get over it! Joe is better
How so? Some people think Norton beat Ali three times. In heavyweight ranking Norton has to be at least 20 places below Ali.
Thankfully I have broadwayjoe on my ignore list and so i can't see what he just posted. knowing him it was probably something to the effect of: "You overrate Hopkins because you're shilling for his favourites stafford, agenda agenda agenda agenda......" :giggle:
My man Slice is getting his testicle swing on. It's all good... other than this topic, he's a great guy.
I dont even know if he is an all time great. My point is, if you're going to say Hopkins is unequivocally an all time great then so is Calzaghe because both of their resumes are vastly overrated.
