Prime Fedor vs Big Foot Silva

Okay let me start off I really don't buy that Fedor is shot. He looks exactly the same to me but groupies need their justifications so I'll play along. So let's say a prime Fedor (whenever you feel he was in his prime. I'm guessing when he was winning fights because once you lose you're shot) faces Big foot again. Does it go any differently this time around ? and if yes then how ? Fedor's power didn't really phase big foot at all. Big foot easily took him down and EASILY and EFFORTLESSLY outgrappled him. So let's hear the arguments. I'm saying no version of Fedor beats an average heavy like big foot. Fedor great in primitive times of mma in scrub filled Japan. In this day and age VERY average heavyweight.

I used to be a HUGE Fedor fan and I still like the guy. He seems like a great guy but I am also objective.

    He would still lose.

I made a post about this before and you mentioned it. But he really isnt shot.

This isnt a case of him fighting some one like Giant Zulu when you talk about fedor fighting someone bigger then him. Silva is actually a skilled fighter. Fedors too small to compete with todays heavys with the amount of skill they have

Even before Fedors losing streak i woulda took Lesner (even after his loss to cain) to beat him just because i feel he would be able to lay and pray him to death cause of his size and strengh

Silva just got laid out by a smaller, pudgy heavyweight.

Fedor would have been able to do the same thing without a doubt.

Fedor IS shot, I'm not sure how it can be denied. His speed/power/explosiveness has severely diminished. He looks kind of listless these days.

I'm not saying he would have ever beaten the top heavies today, who are generally very big and well rounded, but he damn sure would have beaten the likes of Silva.

Fedor never beats big foot. Sad but true.

Fedor could've beaten any HW today, but he wouldn't be undefeated.

Bigfoot beat Fedor by gaining a dominant position on the ground and controlling Fedor. It seems people forget that Fedor, in his prime, fought and beat much better grapplers and wrestlers than Bigfoot Silva.

I will be the first to pile on Fedor for fighting bums and running up a win streak littered with guys that sucked.

That being said, great wrestlers like Coleman, Randleman and Lindland as well as great grapplers like Big Nog (twice) and Arona couldn't control a prime Fedor. Yet we are supposed to believe that Bigfoot could?

As I said in a previous post, Fedor's quick and explosive hips that made him impossible to control in his prime ARE gone now.

I think a prime Fedor makes Bigfoot look like a lumbering, clumsy fuck.
