Sandler was good in both "Punch Drunk Love" and "Funny People". Granted he tends to really suck when he makes those shitty movies where he mugs for the camera for two hours.

Disagree with Will Smith for obvious reasons. Watch:
    six degrees of separation

Stallone was great in Copland as well as in Capone.
He was very good in First blood and Fist.

    Rocky had great acting too.

To me, though, thats akin to saying Ali is a great fighter NOW --- check him out in the 60's. Smith long ago gave up credible acting, and if anyone mentions Seven Pounds as countenance, I'll scream

Stallone has been awful in a hundred films.

  16. Will Smith is a bad pick.

Good picks would be those that have no chance of getting an Oscar nomination. Smith has been nominated TWICE.

Clint Eastwood? Really? Clint Eastwood is a bad actor? Really?

Clint Eastwood has no range as an actor, but tje one character he plays he plays very well. Ben Affleck is decent, though is better as a director.

Will Smith I do not like very much, but he is a solid actor.

    Bizzare list, tbh.

Many excellent actors have no chance of getting an Oscar nomination. And plenty of mediocre actors have received oscar nominations.

Absolutely true. Smith is seldom different to Schwarzenegger or Eastwood --- guys who play almost line-for-line the same character and somehow wind up being respected (Eastwood), loved (Schwarzenegger), or both to varying degrees (Smith).

  20. Ramonza Soliloquies

Which makes him a bad actor, with an inexplicable degree of respect.

Who else do you disagree with?

January is think is okay. Not great but adequate.

    Clint is the man, however.

  25. Lack of range makes a bad actor? What just because Eastwood probably couldn't play a flamboyant queer?

Dude...acing is all about making the character believable. Eastwood makes his character's believable in in those roles he conveys genuine emotions. You may not seem him crying like a baby or acting like a man possessed...but he's a real genuine character.

I have to completely call into question your opinions on acting and movies now.

  26. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

The films i've seen of him he plays the same type of character. Can get too much, ya know.

He was actually funny in the waterboy tho, granted. The scenes of him playin american football was pretty funny :l3:

Eastwood is one of my all-time favourite actors. Just superb.

Ending of Unforgiven. If that's not a man possessed, I don't know what is.

Stallone has the talent to act, but he doesn't make his money that. Again, check out copland. That wasn't in the 60s.

How did Will Smith give up his credibility in acting? His performance in The Pursuit of Happiness was terrific.
