What was the meaning of Sound & Fury?

  5. Slice N Dice

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

I quite liked the word play for

    Lewis
    Tyson

The worst ever has to be "Who R U picking?" for Mayweather-Mosley. That was fucking awful

  6. Ugotabe Kidding

Ugotabe Kidding WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

    It is a famous novel

I liked the Lewis-Tyson. Id just turned 18 and though Im not a gambler, that fight was my first ever bet.

"Who R U Picking?" What is that!? Thats not even anything.

  8. Ramonza Soliloquies

    Ramonza Soliloquies "Twinkle Toes" McJack

I know. Just dont see how it applies to the bout.

What about, "The Great Gatti?" Or The Great Katsy? Or Dempsey?

  9. Irish

    Irish Yuge, Beautiful

How much did you lose betting on Retro Mike?

  10. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

I quite liked ''The Dream Match'' Pacquiao - DLH.

The LEWIS vs TYSON one is good.

Tyson - Golota was good. ''Showdown in Motown''

Not a chance. Put every penny I had on Lewis. It was a sure thing.

  12. steve_dave

    steve_dave Hard As Fuck

As a young, impressionable boxing fan I liked "Bad Blood" for De La Hoya/Vargas. Not much in terms of originality, but it'll always be a personal favourite.

  13. Slice N Dice

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

I know man, it was atrocious, with the txt speak as well. Euurgh. If anyone suggested "Who R U picking?" as a promotional title I'd just reply with U R Fired

  14. "Holyfield vs Tyson" (1991)

Best one. It didn't even need a silly slogan. That was all you needed in a promotion. Tyson the people's champion coming back to form after a shock defeat and Evander the new undisputed undefeated Heavyweight champion. Every man woman and child wanted to see that fight.

  15. "Who's fooling Who?"

    Benn Eubank (1991)

  16. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

  17. Ramonza Soliloquies

    Ramonza Soliloquies "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Yeah, thats awful. Not unlike the fight itself.

    Nice line though

  18. Ramonza Soliloquies

    Ramonza Soliloquies "Twinkle Toes" McJack

"Battle Of The Ages" - Holyfield-Foreman.

  19. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

I often liked ones that used the location in the title such as "The Brawl in Montreal" & "The Thrilla in Manilla"

  20. Ramonza Soliloquies

    Ramonza Soliloquies "Twinkle Toes" McJack

How about on The Simpsons, where Drederick Tatum takes a fight against a horse into international waters, where no laws apply?

    "Slaughter In The Water,"

  21. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

I don't even remember that one but i like it.:bears:

  22. Ramonza Soliloquies

    Ramonza Soliloquies "Twinkle Toes" McJack

I think it wasnt shown, just someone pulled out the poster to show Homer what you could get away with out there. It was Tatum and a horse, gloved up and eyeballing each other something fierce

  23. "Two Big" I think was the slogan for Lewis-Grant. Something like that anyway. T'was pretty good.

  24. Dog Jones

Dog Jones WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

    "The Birdcage"

  25. mexican wedding shirt

mexican wedding shirt The Greatest of Are Times

Oh man, that makes me wanna fucking strangle whoever came up with the "concept" and whoever green lighted it. Utter retards, and easily the worst promotional slogan in boxing history.

  26. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

Pacquiao-Mayweather if it comes off - "It's about @#^%@ time for christ sake! I mean really now!"

  27. The title should be:

"Pound for Pound" or "Immortality beckons"

  28. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

I'm pretty sure the first one was done. Second one is not bad, but needs "tweaking".

  29. Irish

    Irish Yuge, Beautiful

Don King had one for a Gerard McClellan fight, it was basically Gerald McClellan vs Nobody, and Don King entitled it "Global Warfare" :scratcher:

  30. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

''Who Craves Immortality The Most Will Win''
