Prime Hatton beats scrubby, overrated Tszyu anywhere, anytime.

    So does Cool Vince.

If Tszyu is a scrub, what does that say about Hatton's career? Given that Tszyu is by far his best win..

True... unless he has the quickest nervous system response ever recorded, he wouldn't be already grimacing in agony from a shot that is still in the process of landing:lol:

I've never seen a fighter attack the kidneys like that before. Laporte must have been pissing blood for weeks.

Really? So...if you grab a guy and then let go, you take away his one-punch power? Are you still up in Newfoundlabradorland sniffing Kerosene?

yup, and he always acted like "what's the big deal"

LaPorte: "Pedroza's the dirtiest fighter I have ever fought"

Pedroza: "When you're a professional, you don't cry."

What do you guys like of Gatti-Rodriguez?

I lost count of the number of low blows Gatti hit him with.

I don't know, but maybe. I wasn't talking so much the outcome as who was the winner in their fights, but in the context of what happened and its effect on Tyson. I think he certainly believed Holy's head altered the outcome of their first fight and the deja vu in the 2nd fight lead to his response.

I have no idea if Tyson would have beaten Holy, but there's no denying that clinching and headbutting was basically the main facet of Holy's gameplan against Mike, and it obviously worked very well.

I'll say it. Holyfield could never beat Tyson without cheating. Tyson was putting it on him in the first fight, even having trained all of 3 weeks. I am not a fan of TYSON either. He is worthless and should be put to death.

Holyfield was absolutely ripping Mike with uppercuts and hooks on the inside and he shoved him backward... You guys are way oversimplifying that fight

Absolutely, that's why I said one can't say if Mike would win anyway, all I'm saying is it's undeniable that holding and butting was a massive part of Evander's plan, and an element that seemed crucial in the success he had against Tyson.

Ripped the uppercuts during or after clinching him.

Benn's rabbit punches and accidental launching headbutt contributed to his victory with equal measure to the punches thrown and the heart he displayed.

    Trinidad Vargas

If not for Vargas' thumb to the eye in the 3rd round..Trinidad would have stoped him before 9 IMO.

McClellan should have held on, gutted it out and gotten off the floor to take a unanimous decision {114-111 on all three cards} That's the base-standard for pussies.

For what it's worth, You could make a damn good case that LaPorte should have won the decision... he had rounds where he absolutely pushed Pedroza back and stunned him with hard punches, when you also take into consideration the 3 points Pedroza lost for fouls, the fight becomes extremely close... I may be a bit biased because I love LaPorte, but that's a one or two point fight either way, to me

I thought Pedroza won on points, but it shouldn't have even gone 15 anyway.

    The ref should've DQ'd him.
