Let's say this fight gets made, who would you pick?

I'm not sure but I think I would go for Kirkland. His chin is suspect as fuck, but I think he's much better than Alvarez offensively, has better stamina, and a lot of heart.

I'm not positive of Kirkland winning, but I am positive that Kirkland pushes this Ginger phony harder than Shitron did.

Anne Wolfe would have wiped her dyke ass with Shitron tonight.

    Alvarez.

Has a better chin and I feel he's stronger. Kirkland gets hit too much to beat Canelo.

you need a pick-em option... to me it'd be folly to be 100% confident in the outcome... I don't care what happened against Angulo, Kirkland is still a highly vulnerable guy with bad defense and a shaky beard... But he definitely would "go for it" in a way Voltron never had the balls to in his whole career, never mind tonight

    It's an either/or fight

Yep. If i were betting i'd probably take whoever the oddsmakers made as the underdog.

Agreed. It's actually a semi interesting fight at sub elite level, because of how much of a pick em it is.

Kirkland is a lot better offensively IMO, but very vulnerable, and they are both pretty hittable etc. Would probably be quite a fun scrap.

There's not a single.fight worth talking about that doesn't involve uncertainty as to who wins. Its about picking a winner in the face of uncertainty.

It would definitely force this kid to fire back, if nothing else... Kirkland may be mostly garbage, but he's game, aggressive garbage who swings for the fences

There is no certain pick here... anyone making a confident pick on this one is probably operating on a huge amount of bias for or against

They BETTER fight in the states. In Mexico Canelo will win by stoppage. He'll buzz Kirkland, and whichever paid off ref is appointed for that fight will stop it. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. Thats what'll happen.

Possibly, Canelo is a much bigger draw than Angulo is in Mexico.

Good point. Among others this is one reason Angelo might be a better opponent.

To be honest the Angulo fight reminded me of why I quite liked Kirkland in the first place.

Sure he's pretty crap at world level, but at least he knows the meaning of the word "fight", unlike so many other young fighters in this generation.

I think he's clearly the most aggressive "name" fighter around these days.

He's not afraid of getting hurt, that is for sure... there used to be loads of guys like that

but, you see, I'm just a hater... I'm making it all up... There is no decline, the sport is better than ever, the fighters are better than ever

Oh yeah. We got Amir Khan to lead us into the next generation.:crafty: So excited.

But yeah if nothing else Kirkland will make a fight of it. Its just that he has a worse chin than Terry Norris.

I don't see him winning at all.

He is highly aggressive, wild, courageous, young Lion crap though. Which should be enough to best Alvarez.

If he had a good chin he could. But he doesn't. Even Cintron takes a better punch.

    Kirkland gets KTFO

Canelo's chin/stamina ain't better than Angulo, and Kirkland broke him down. Kirkland by mid-round stoppage.

If you're in top condition you could come back from big punches better. Angulo punches hard as hell and James took it and came back. As long as he's in shape he should be ok.

    That's disappointing.

Ginger is angling for a Floyd fight obviously.
