Then he shouldn't have been doing an interview. But he just can't help himself. He makes Emma Noble look like a fucking recluse. If one of my best pals was found this morning, I wouldn't be on the BBC speaking about it.
Yeah he is an evil racist whose denial of Ghana constitutes one of the worst episodes of post-colonial oppression of a Sub-Saharan African country by a South American Industrial powerhouse. We get the message.
Its been a horrible day, I've been flat and listless since the awful news at lunchtime. Its sucked the life out of so many people. Listening to Robbie Savage on 606 was very painful as his grief at losing a close friend was too fresh. He would start a 'Speedo' story, get carried away telling it, temporarily forget the reason why he was telling it, then 'thud' as he remembered. You could hear the air rush out of him like a balloon every time. Horrible news on so many levels for so many people.
by rights he should be at home crying and getting it out of his system. I do not look forward to Robbie Savage and Gary Neville being in my face. I'm not saying Savages grief is fake, it's just not helpful.
It's been a shit day really, it's just kinda knocked me for six. Didn't even know the guy but he was part of the Premier League furniture. Absolute class.
I must confess it hasn't really knocked me for 1 never mind 6. The guy was three syllables and face in my head. 'Denis Irwin found dead'. 'Dejan Savicevic found dead'. 'Gary Kemp found dead'. A thought goes out to the family but it doesn't effect my day.
A couple months ago I spent an ecto comedown reading articles about the great famine and the holocaust. Then I realised reading depressing stuff was heavy depressing and stopped. Here, wanna hear something shocking? 'Spiced apple and honey' cider is howlin. Tastes like ringed out sport socks.:goingmad:
Leffe is an ok beer. If I had to drink one it'd be desperados or that (leaving aside proper ales & stouts). It combines horribly with cider though, they're polar opposite textures. After cider leffe tastes like off-cream and after leffe cider tastes like diluted urine
Today is the day that, in the words of the BBC "Football Mattered Not" I don't agree with that sentiment at all. I am with you in that this collective, facebook mourning is taken out of context. BUT.......he was a staple of my afternoons in one guise or another, and it did shock me.
Some recent Celtic highlights. :bears: Things are on the up p.<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NtqxFxUZhFY" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe> <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/E0OJaY7MChI" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe> Can't embed this one properly, probably the pick of the bunch: http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/anthony-stokes-inverness-15711342/
From rants about the BBC, to womens asses to the easter rising and back to football. Just another day in the Premier League thread.
 Poor bastard. Life can be shite. Sometimes I wish I was as simple as Ian Holloway, then I could compartmentalize it into "Us vs Them", with "us" being some vaguely defined sense of England, and "them" being some even more vaguely defined version of Europe and FIFA. I would then run down to the White Cliffs of Dover with my Vimto and challenge ANY motherfucker to foist their laws on me. Positively DARE the cunts, I would.
