Ariza blasts Arum for impeding the Mayweather fight -

    http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content11249.html

"It's not about what's best for the fighter. It's clear as to why the
Pacquiao-Mayweather fight has never happened. It's always about what's
best for Bob and his agenda...Let me ask you something, why is it that
Bob can do a co-promotion with everybody else out there? He can do a
co-promotion with anyone, DiBella, this guy, that guy, but he won't do
a co-promotion when it comes to Manny Pacquiao fighting somebody.
Whoever Manny fights, he has to fight in-house. Why is that do you
think? I wonder why...I know that Michael Koncz says that he's having
a meeting with Bob to negotiate the Mayweather fight. They're having a
meeting on how to make sure that this fight doesn't happen. That's
what their meeting is about...We still are sticking firm. I think
that's the fight that everybody wants to see. Here's the thing, Dana
White is 100% absolutely correct. Bob Arum is a greedy pig. Now I
see...Arum hates Floyd Mayweather, can't stand him, doesn't want to
see him make a dollar, can't stand Golden Boy, doesn't want to do
business with them, but instead of doing what's best for the sport,
what's best for the fans, and what's best for the fighters because
they'll get the payday of a lifetime, no, it's all about him...Unless
you can tell me and convince me otherwise, because I'm thoroughly
convinced and believe that Floyd really does want to have this fight.
I think he really wants to have this fight. As far as he knows, he's
right. He's right. Bob is the one interfering.."

Thursday was Thanksgiving here, thus I haven't been online much for the past week (except from my phone). There is a world outside of Pacquiao's taint, you should try exploring it sometime.

The date of the article should have been a giveaway.

And lol at iPhone. I didn't realise grown men used iPhones.

I didn't see it posted here. *shrug*

In the US, the iPhone is ubiquitous. The UK might be the last place on earth where people still use RIM phones. That's the second comment you've made that indicates you're less than well-versed about what the world is like outside of Croydon.

Did you think I boycotted Apple products based on my comments on Jobs' passing?

 I actually have a game coming out on iOS and Android next year.

I'm just saying, iPhones are a bit too gay and trendy for my taste. And Apple as a whole are a pretty hideous, greedy company.

I have a nice HTC phone, a meat and potatoes phone, a man's phone. More powerful than an iPhone, does more, and less gay/trendy.

iPhone = Zab Judah, HTC = Roberto Duran.

They are very similar, the iPhone has a small edge, depending on what you're doing. And that's mainly down to the fact that most Apple underclock their processors, the iPhone 4 actually has a 1ghz processor like the Desire, but I think it's clocked at 800mhz.

Battery life is the worst thing about smartphones really, but it's not really surprising, they are basically mini netbooks running on a tiny little battery.

Oh I see, what other Androids have you tried that have a significantly better battery life?

I had two HTCs in a row, they were both pretty poor build quality. Went with an iPhone 3gs next, hated it and got rid of it in a week, switched to Blackberry Bold, that fell apart mostly, switched to a Nokia N900, that fell apart. In the meantime I'd ordered an iPhone 4 for my wife, but she insisted she was happy with her 3gs. So not having any other phone, I started using the iPhone 4, and I like it a lot now.. lasted me over a year, which is the longest I've had any phone since 2005. The wife has since gotten an iPhone 4 as well.. I'm going to switch to the 4s when I get around to it.

That's strange - I have a Desire S (purposefully chosen over the Sensation, because I want the average user experience/performance, which is obviously the desire) and I find the build quality very good.

In fact that's what stood out to me about HTC phones compared to others, they feel very solid, not flimsy at all.

Maybe you got an early HTC phone or something?

I had the Touch & the Tilt.. they weren't flimsy per se, just felt clunky and cheap and not very durable. Durability is a big factor for me, which is why I never expected the iPhone (basically a glass phone) to last me that long.. having a case helps a lot.

Ah, they're pretty old. I hadn't even heard of HTC in those days, I worked for a mobile game company years ago and got kind of sick of phones, so didn't really keep up with them until recently.

The Desire is solid, nicely built, I would be amazed if an iPhone was more durable.

The iPhone 4 must be more durable than it looks, as yeah, it does look delicate.

I don't carry around a phone at all.

If I want to call somebody. I steal somebody else's phone after calling them a pussy for having it in the first place.

Ms-what's your game coming out? You a developer?

I have a Motorola ATRIX - pretty happy with it. I too hate apple. Android innovates - apple with its marketing dollars takes the credit.

Motorola has the best battery life out of all android operated devices,Samsung battery life is pretty good as well.HTC needs to put bigger batteries in there phones and make HTC sense less of a battery hog and it will have the best all around android device because there phones are really nice.I'm impressed with the new HTC Rezound.

As for me I'm using the Samsung Charge

    Jake loves phonez.

Double - Yes I'm a developer, I make 3D web games mainly. This is going to be my first phone game, I'll tell you the name when it's finalised nearer the time. I have to work out how I'm going to market it, I'm used to things marketing themselves on the web, or a big company doing it.

I agree that HTC battery life is crap, luckily for me I work from home, so it's not much of an issue.

However, considering even the iPhone doesn't have dramatically better battery life, surely the other Androids can't be that much better, like Samsung Galaxies etc which have comparable specs?

BTW Double, regarding Apple, I'm going to have to begrudingly buy a Mac JUST to upload the game to the app store, that's all it's going to be used for
