The Official Cotto-Margarito II Prediction Thread!

I'm going with Cotto by decision.

 

Cotto by close decision, I think. I'd be quite a bit more confident if he'd stayed with Steward though.

 

Margarito TKO 9 I just have a feeling. Cement wraps or not, Margarito walked through everything Cotto threw and Cotto has never had the best stamina, I just think it's real likely the outcome is the same as the first fight.

Do you think Cotto is the same? I don't. He took a hell of a beating from Manny, then looked pretty shitty in the Foreman and Mayorga fights.

 

Cotto by UD. More easily than expected. By the same token, if Margarito puts on a repeat performance, he vindicates himself somewhat.

I don't. I just don't think he's as badly faded as Marg.

Surprised with so many people going for Margarito in this fight. IMO Pacman won this fight for Cotto 13 months ago.

 

The dr should already have stopped the fight. His eye is awful.

I don't think Cotto looked that bad against Mayo and Foreman actually.

It is a SOMEWHAT risky pick, because part of why Plasterito won was chin and stamina in addition to the wraps. Even so, without wraps I think Cotto could have hung in there and won a decision.

I don't know about that. Cotto still has both eyes.
