Yup. I'll be asking for second helpings as well as humble pie for dessert.

But that's all moot. Cotto can't win. Margarito is too much man for him and most importantly:

    Cotto is fragile.

I saw Mayorga giving Cotto HELL and Mayorga was way past shot..and never had any heart to begin with.

Margarito is going to close that gap early and pummel softy into submission.

Your assuming Margarito has the same punch resistance after going through the punishment he's gone through plus the eye surgery.

I just can't imagine him being the same guy he was in 08. Fighters like Margarito burn out because of their style.

And he doesn't have his plaster wraps to hurt Cotto with this time.

If Margarito wins this time around, he would have earned it.

    WTF? You must be nuts.

Cotto got on his bike against Manny, he didn't take a particularly bad beating.

Plasterito took the most savage beatdown I've seen in YEARS from Pacquiao, I'm honestly surprised he's not brain damaged.

My arse he did. Cotto was in command the whole way through.

I tell you who he did give hell to, Mosley, that was more or less an even fight until he got KO'd

Yeah, i find it hilarious people say Cotto Struggled against Mayorga. He kicked the shit out of him. Mayorga had a few wreckless flurries, but cotto was never in any danger.

True, but both took a pretty bad beating and Cotto already took a real bad one against Margarito the fight time.

I have to agree. And this is the only X factor. Has that beating destroyed Margarito. You see the Margarito OF THAT FIGHT would be too much for Cotto. But if that fight has already half killed him that Cotto would take him out.

The latter is possible condiering the savagery of that beating. I'm with you Mex...I've seen many a fighter DIE after taking a lesser beating than that one.

    You're my boy Z.

Margarito was busted up vs. Cotto. Took a ton of punishment, even in victory. They left a lot of themselves in that ring.

Our paths will cross at some point. I plan on traveling around to watch a bunch of fights over the next couple years.

My favourite during my limited stay in NYC was Katz deli. Almost as good as Schwartz's

The more cheatarito tries to protect that eye, the more Cotto can work the body and gain the initiative.

Garden, I have to say it's pretty koo that you're 60 years old, but your sentences are liberally interspersed with "lol"'s just like a 15 year old

I'm thinking Cotto on a stoppage due to the eye in a fight that is very close... Margarito, whether he cheated or not, has a solid chin and he comes forward... Cotto, like Sly alluded, is not a durable guy and like Hut has pointed out before, he still makes fundamental mistakes, he gets into patterns that are easy to figure out... because of this, he gets hit and he gets hurt... Both of these guys are faded, Cotto is a bit sharper at this point for sure, but any major decline in Margarito's ability or DURAbility is offset somewhat, to me, by the fact that Cotto already was a bit fragile in his prime and has also regressed right along with him... I think Cotto gets off to a nice start, probably wins the first couple of rounds very clearly, but Margarito starts getting to him and it's more of a firefight than Cotto is hoping for... The thing is, the eye is bad, it is really bad... Whether or not he is defending himself well or is competing, Margarito will almost surely be injured and I think that eye is the key... I have a feeling this gets stopped by about the 7th round with it very close on the cards... Cotto wins by TKO at a point where things are looking dicey...

:dunno:I dont know who is going to win this fight. This is a HIGH risk fight that can go either way. I think it comes down to how much Margarito has left IMO. He has taken some serious beatings from Mosley and Pacman. He also has had wars with Daniel Santos and Cotto. I dont know how much more he can take. I also haven't seen Cotto this motivated for a fight so I dont know if we are going to see a much better Cotto then we have in the last few fights. Too many questions and possibilities here. I'm guessing if I pick Cotto then Xplosive will immediatley say I have sealed Cotto's fate  I will reserve until I think some more.
