Anthony Mundine vs. Kelly Pavlik (Primes)

Thinking Pavlik would trap him somewhere but is Mundine too slippery?

 

The Mundine that outboxed Danny Green might very well do the same to the alchy.

 

He did run to defeat against another puncher in Kessler, though.

 

Come on, the same Pavlik that beat Taylor would comfortably beat Mundine, probably by KO.

Green isn't even close to being as good as prime, pre alcohol Pavlik.

 

I agree with that, but then, Mundine didnt really struggle with Green.

Thinking some more though, I like Pavlik's chances. I did actually get to ask Mundine about this fight back in 2008, when Pavlik was the man of the division. Asked him if he would chase the bout.

"Hopefully," he said (there was a mixed reaction on his face). "Because Jermain Taylor made every mistake in the book & Kelly was slow to get him." Then he broke with the brief analysis for self-promotion. And I broke to talk with someone else.
