The guy had ZERO fights at that weight, it's a stupid prediction to make, there is literally NOTHING to go on... It'd be like putting Sugar Ray Robinson in a cruiserweight fight... I know you love JMM, but Sal was flat out a better featherweight than him

Im just joshing you, mate. I agree Sanchez was a better fighter. It IS a pet peeve of mine though however, that people get all panicky about, "Well, X never fought there, so we dont know..." its four pounds, I mean really. Sal Sanchez doesnt turn into Rocky Juarez adding four pounds. Wouldnt you say comparing this case to Robinson at Cruiser a hair extreme? LOL.

Dunno, man. Sometimes those four pounds matter in the lower weights.

    Same here.

I hate that people complains that there's too many division, and, in total contradiction of the previous pov, act like if 4 or 5 pounds makes all the difference in the world.

Nobody's saying it'd make all the difference in the world, they're just saying whats the point of speculating on it, here?

I think Sanchez would have stopped him. People underrate how good a puncher Sanchez was. That, combined with his insane accuracy, and I think he eventually would have badly hurt Marquez and closed the show.

    Sanchez TKO 11.

No one said it makes all the difference in the world. But there have been plenty of quality fighters who were less effective once they moved out of their original weight class. For example...I don't see Sanchez or Nelson as significantly better fighters than Wilfredo Gomez (and before someone tries to split hairs over this...I said SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER), but they proved to be significantly better at Featherweight. Gomez's power and punch resistance got worse as he moved up up to the higher weight classes.
