He's active, never ducks anyone, takes fights he is not broadly expected to win. He always gets up and he always tries. I never understood the dislike. The disinterest, sure, but the dislike, no.

Irish, you can continue to delude yourself for as long as you like that people were all burned up about David Haye and Klitschko, but it just isn't true. The fight was not interesting, the matchup was trivial. England is not the United States. Perhaps some brits thought their guy was good, but nobody here knows or cares who he is, he was just another shit opponent for Wlad to jab/hug to a decision win

Wlad is reprehensible. I cannot even fathom how anyone would like him as a fighter. He seems like a decent guy. He is civilized at least and educated. I actually respect him as a person. I hate him as a fighter. He is awful to watch.He is just so cowardly in the ring.

Instead a thread designed to draw attention to the fact that a name-fighter had been hospitalized with a pretty painful condition and was still going ahead with a fight very rapidly degenerated into a meeting more resembling an AA meeting...."Hi, I'm Steve, and I've been hating Wlad since...." :: A few lame accusations about steroids......that sort of thing.
