George Foreman was a construction worker in "Let's do it again" with Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier

Max Baer was in "The prizefighter and the Lady"

Of course, Joe Frazier played himself in "Rocky"

Muhammad Ali played himself in "The Greatest"

De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard played themselves in "Brokeback Mountain"

    Any others?

Fernando Vargas was in Alpha Dog. Shannon Briggs was in Bad Boys 2 or something like that. RJJ in the Matrix sequel. Gary Stretch (who is actually a very good actor) had a big part in Dead Mans Shoes (great film). Lennox Lewis played a yardie gang boss in Johnny Was. Steve Collins was in Lock Stock.

Good call on Roberto Duran, I temporarily forgot that one.

Actually Mark Breland turned in a fantastic performance in "Lords of discipline" where he was in the army and was subjected to racism in the form of electric shocks to his balls. Great film actually.

Roy Jones was also in The Devil's Advocate, with Al Pacino.

Marvin Hagler became a star of Italian B-grade action flicks. Ditto for Manny Pacquiao in his native Philippines.

In the fictional Boxing movie Play It To The Bone, you see George Foreman and Mike Tyson. Tyson can be seen again in The Hangover movies.

There are so many, but here's a few more...

Vito Antuofermo was in The Godfather Part III.

Tony Galento, Tami Mauriello & Abe Simon were in On The Waterfront.

Ken Norton was in Mandingo, Drum & Dirty Work. Also on an episode of the A-Team on TV.

Primo Carnera was in Mighty Joe Young

George Chuvalo was in the 80's remake of The Fly

Tex Cobb was in The Golden Child, Raising Arizona, One of the Fletch movies, Liar, Liar and a bunch of other stuff

Ray Mancini was in Oceans of Fire with Ken Norton & Tony Burton (from Rocky)

Earnie shavers was in Honeymoon in Vegas

70's heavy Pedro Lovell played Spider Rico in Rocky

Maxie Rosenbloom had too many acting roles to list.

George Foreman was in "Car Wash."

Jack O'Halloran in Superman I & II and many others.

And there are a lot of prominent actors who were boxers before starting their acting careers.
