Given the margin on the scorecards and how late the KDs were, Vazquez-Marquez 3 and Chacon-Limon 4

There is only so much a handful of forum members who have been posting for years can talk about other than future fights IMO.

</P>so did the ref not call either knockdown in round 11? Why didn't either fighter get a count?

Yeah, Ingle has a very broad Scarborough accent which is easy for me to make out because it is very similar to my borad, Geordie accent  I can understand why some people might struggle, though.

I met Ingle before he got injured. He used to have a sports bar on Scarborough high street in 2000 when I was working in Scarborough during the Summer and in between being a student. I heard about it and popped in for a beer and a bit of a chat. He was a genuinely nice guy and his pub was filled, wall-to-wall, with his boxing belts, memorabilia, programmes, fight posters etc etc. Such a shame that, a few months later, he near died.

Well, according to Benn's autobiography, he was taken to the same hospital as McLellan after the fight. He then says he wheeled himself over to McLellan's bed and kissed his hand whilst apologising. No-one bar Benn knows if this is true, but that is certainly what he said he did.

I asked the same thing in an article for boxing fanatics a few years back. I'd never actually noticed that Eubanks didn't get a count until I rewatched the fight a few years ago. It's certainly strange.
