Anybody else think Froch's gonna knock out Ward?

Boot would stand pretty much no chance at all against Ward.

I think even Frock stands a better chance than Boot.

No...he's a skilled, confident boxer puncher who hasn't really faced anyone top tier yet but that doesn't make him shit. He could definitely fight. The calmness, accuracy, and power are impressive.

Has anyone watched the face off between Ward and Froch, its awesome, froch's trying to get in Ward's head. Quite funny, froch doesnt do very well. But its funny watching him try, i hope he knocks that prick out

 

I watched it. It was amusing at times. Seems Froch came armed with questions and ready to shoot down Ward's career...especially the bit about Ward getting hurt by Darnell Boone.

I liked Ward's response when he said, "any fighter can get knocked out." Which is true. I liked how Ward responded with the same line when Froch asked if he thought he could knock him out after saying he didn't respect Ward's punch.

Ward looked foolish when trying to defend his record...come on Sakia Bika? :kidcool:

I think it will be a decent scrap. I've watched a few of Froch's fights recently and outside of catching Ward coming in...I'm having a difficult time seeing how he beats Andre. Froch can use his jab to keep Ward at a distance then time him coming in, however, if it's an inside fight, while I believe Froch is the stronger of the two he has no inside fighting ability.

In addition, when Froch lets his hands fly he always squares up...it's to his benefit that Ward isn't a good puncher to the head (I think he's a good body puncher) and Froch's got a good chin. I think that will make the fight go the distance.

I'm looking forward to it.

It wouldn't be Froch if he didn't talk shit but there's really no reason to. This fight sells itself. Both guys deserve their spot in the finals.

 

Ward already schooled Froch on that face off rip off show and he will school him again.

I like Froch and his arrogance is funny. But he is just not on Ward's level.

 

The handshake bit at the end made me laugh. I get the impression they kinda like each other.

 

That weekend is gonna be great. Have my christmas party on the saturday evening, folllowed by this fight, then going QPR vs Man Utd on sunday. Happy days.

You know, ward actually looks a little retarded. I especially noticed this in the face-off programme.

 

I laughed at the reaction by Ward and his trainer when the reporter (on the Fightcamp 360 show) mentioned Froch stating he'd target Ward's eye. The reporter then asked if Ward planned to target Froch's nose.

Their reaction was hilarious. Ward's trainer laughed and said something like, "now see, I didn't want to go there. You guys brought it up."
