But he wasn't ko'd and threw back. His "running away" was actually drawing Maidana in.

Khan couldnt 'draw' with crayons mate. But he won the fight so fair does to him.

People still don't give Khan the credit he deserves for that win.

I hope he takes out Peterson in stunning fashion.

Peterson throws about 11 punches a round, I'm sure Khan will fuck him up something fierce

LMAO! He did? I musta missed that fight.

As for Maidana vs Alexander...... if it was at 140, I'd pick Maidana with confidence. Since its at 147, I'm not so sure. I dont think Maidana will carry welter very well.

Yall keep saying that, but Peterson looked very good against Cayo. By far the best performance of his career.

Peterson is a tough fighter. He's a bit of a perfectionist, but I think that can serve him well against a guy like Khan, who presumably, if he hits him right, he'll be able to hurt.

Same. He looks a decent size at 140, but he's a guy that definitely relies on being at least as big and strong as his opponent, that goes without saying.

If Alexander carries the weight much better, that obviously gives him an edge.

I still pick Maidana though, I just don't rate Alexander at all. He should be 0 - 3 in his previous 3 fights.

Adrien Broner-Eloy Perez has been added to this card... though the odd thing is, the co-feature is finalized while details for Alexander-Maidana are still being worked out

I don't want to detract from Khan off the Maidana fight, its the Maidana-Morales fight that gets me every time. Seeing a comebacking Alkee rip Maidana with lead lefts shows the difference between a young athlete and an old fighter. Guy was half-blind, had a hoop of booze-flab around his midriff and had been broken up to the gut and he was in there taking the piss out of Maidana.

This sucks. Madaina needs to be at 140. I hate to see him duped into moving up and possibly losing when there's plenty of guys for him to face at 140, just nobody willing to because they're afraid to lose.

Supposedly he's having trouble making weight, although I have a hard time believing that this mass exodus from 140 has less to do with weight and more to do with standing in line to face Floyd or Pacquiao.

Maidana already faced Khan, can't get a rematch and for whatever reason doesn't want to face Bradley. Not much left at 140, unless Peterson pulls off the upset this weekend (I'm hoping for it, but not counting on it).

At 147, even if Maidana beats Alexander and doesn't get Floyd or Pac, there's always the winner of Ortiz-Berto II while waiting.

Who has Bradley EVER beaten the shit out of?

    Nobody.

He's beaten some good names, give them a working over, won cleanly, but he never beat the shit out of anyone.

He couldn't even beat the shit out of that 1930's Jazz-Club-Haircut-Having Devon Alexander.

Yes, but its not like he bustled on in there, dropped him a few times and made him quit. He butted him and ran around after him. That was it.

    Who, Khan?

Oh, Peterson...well, you know, I said it before, the bag doesn't hit back, and neither does the car you are sleeping in.

Thankfully, Bernard was at hand during the week to impart some "Urban" wisdom about how he can relate to sleeping in a car and how this guy Peterson is dangerous, thanks to his vehicular-dormitory past.

Dormitory. Peterson is Dormant already, he's fast-a-fucking-sleep, and if isn't now, he will be by the time Saturday is out.

Nah, Bradley beat him easily, and didn't even headbutt much.

Again, hard to look good when your opponent is being a negative creep. Alexander didn't want to fight, and Bradley did what he had to.

He also dominated Peterdude, Peterdude who managed to get a draw against legendary huge welterweight Ortiz.

I expect Khan to win every round Vs Peterdude on Saturday.

    @ Peterdude.

I give Khan credit for this much: If Thou Scrubst, He Shall Reveal Thine Scrubbiness Right Quickly.

That said, he will never break Breid.

And Khan haters are the most blind I've ever seen. He gets exactly no credit, regardless of what he does. In spite of the fact that he has fought (or offered to fight) everyone worth fighting in his division over the last two years.

Where did I say he won easily? :dunno:

Nah, but he faced him (many here said he wouldn't), he dropped him hard and fought a tough battle with him. He then weathered a tough storm (Khan has a terrible punch resistance) to emerge a close, but clear winner.

Around here, Maidana either suddenly became 'overrated' or he 'won/was robbed'. I dont like Khan's pitty-patty style either, but the lad has balls to come accross the pond and fight the guys he has fought. He gets no credit for anything, though. That is wrong.

This really isn't too far off from the truth. There seems to be no middle ground with Khan. Either he's the second coming of Jesus Christ, or he's one more punch away from being exposed as a hype job.

Prior to 2010, I had Bradley as far and way the best 140 lb. fighter on the planet and the de facto champion. Khan closed that gap in a hurry, and surpassed nearly to the point of lapping him.

I honestly don't get the hate w/ Khan. I've been a fan since his Olympic run.
