Froch does have a good chance to win this fight. He has some good power in that right hand of his and Ward can be hurt. But if Froch is just thinking knockout in this fight and nothing else, he plays into Ward's hands. He's gotta also meet Ward punch for punch in the trenches, unlike Khan who just ran like a bitch when that Peterson forced an infight. This fight will be pretty good I think.

It's nice to have a fight that is even worthy of debate. Seem like fights like this are few and far between these days.
Same here, as long as it is a good clean scrap with no nonsense on the cards or from the referee or from Ward himself. Carl has to make sure he doesn't get dragged into a state of affairs whereby he commits borderline offenses that he gets called on. He's got to keep clean too.
There's no need from either guy to think about fighting dirty. Ward can prove himself here, by attempting to win the fight in a manner that doesn't draw any sort of criticism towards his performance. Froch just needs to perform the way he has before, BUT, bring something extra to the table that we've never seen before. Here's hoping. Can't fucking wait.
Hate to agree with HerrCocksucker, Neil, but Froch's chin is vastly overrated. Jermain Taylor is feather fisted and hurt him bad. Ward will keep him off in the few seconds he isn't committing horrendous fouls.

Although I agree that this fight is a good fight for boxing, I think it will be a better fight for boxing if Froch wins. I would expect better fights to be made more quickly if that was the case, and I think Froch would be a more exciting champion in just about every way. I heavily dislike watching Andre Ward, and I think that despite him admittedly having talent, he is not a "special" fighter at all but rather relies on fight control through hack-and-hump, which I abhor. Froch has so much more character, he has the Jess Willard-esque farmer vibe, he can box well enough to stay in there with boxers and can punch well enough to hurt just about anyone. What can I say? Was not a fan at all years ago, but now the guy has grown on me. How can you dislike him? To me, Ward being "an American" means nothing, even though I expect there will be a good bit of UK/USA hype, proud images of each fighter standing in front of their flowing, respective flags, in pensive slow-motion with Hollywood lighting. Bah. I admit, I just could not get into Hatton no matter what, but Froch is a different character with a far more likeable boxing style to me, is just arrogant enough to make you smile but not dislike him, and he is all fighter. Tonight I will bust out the Union Jack attire when watching this fight, I am rooting heavily against Ward.

I want Froch to get popped, i hope Ward beats the press releases out of him. I'm not a 'convert' ,..and the Kessler fight wasn't 'close' at all,.. I dont have any ill will towards the British,.. but Froch and Haye,..have always been the two that 'had to go'. Ward will do it easy,.. and I'm looking forward to the aftermath, the bitch-fit from Froch will rival Hopkins.
Ward's gonna win, hands down, but I hope Froch wins because I find Ward really, really irritating and his style is borderline unwatchable
Andre Ward, Lamont Peterson, dass they two, dass they two!!! The only real problem with this fight is that its not on HBO, which deprives fans of what they all want to see: a big thick rope of Ward's cum glued to the mandible of Max Kellerman, leaving Ward with balls as empty as his facial expression.
