Great...Ward in red, white and blue trunks... Reminds me of the streak where guys wearing colors of their country getting blasted or taking ass kickings. Think it started with Trinidad vs Hopkins...Mosley vs Forrest wasn't long after that.
Surprised Ward touching Froch with jab already....Froch benindg at waist giving up height. Froch overshot the right hand badly...looks a little slow.
ward looks very assured, some reddening on The Fronz's nose already, from clean shots, their feet are getting a bit tangled, ref better keep an eye on that.
When Froch jabs in, Ward puts his elbow up on Frochs head, like a tin opener, and levers down. Frochs response is to clinch, and their legs tangle when they do. Its been shite so far, and Froch doesn't look any stronger than Ward.
Good close to round by Ward. Ward's picking him apart a bit. Froch loosened up and landed good body shots. Could pay off later. Ward is a little head happy, needs to invest in body shots.
