another good round...ward up 3-0. The only problem ward will have with this guy is if he backs straight out...Froch will catch him on the end of his shots...like a couple good body shots. with froch's right hand. Outside of that ward is in control.
Froch needs to give up on left hooks, it isn;t working, Ward has that right hand up nice and tight to defend against it... Froch's hands are too slow for it to work, Ward sees them coming every time... Ward is breaking him down slowly but insistently
Clear round by ward. Froch seemed a little gassed at the end. He sould forget throwing the right at the head...as soon as ward comes in, he needs to counter uppercut up the middle. Surprised Ward pushed froch back...Froch squared gets nothing on his punches.
Yes, but he's also cheating, subtly, but cheating nonetheless. That little chapter there was a perfect example of it. His use of the elbow and forearm on the inside where his back is to the referee is totally out of bounds, and ironically, he is good enough NOT to have to do it.

It's getting to the point where the ,pre froch throws the more openings ward has. Froch is getting a little sloppy...ward is staying tight in his defense though froch landed a few decent shots toward the end.
Fuck Ward. Holding the back of his head. Live by it die by it. He's better than Froch but there's no need for the rule-breaking. Closer 5th round.
