Clear follow through with the elbow off a Ward jab early in the 6th, just chronicling his rule-breaking is a thread in itself. I think Froch has thrown caution to the wind and is starting to foul back. Froch has the guts to make a fight of it but not the speed. That might change later on.
Froch is trying hard but is just getting outclassed. I almost feel bad for him until I look at who he's fucking and how much money he's making and that sympathy goes away.
Froch nailed Ward as clean as he could hope to then took a better shot in return. We'll see if Ward can keep this pace. Froch is losing but speeding up the fight a bit. At thos point a slower fight benefits Ward.
Yeah, he can see the gaps, somebody like Calzaghe would fuck Ward up, because the gaps are there, but Froch is too mechanical to take advantage. However, he has that Warsaw Rising mentality, he's not going quietly, even if he risks a DQ or TKO loss
I stand by my previous statement... lead with jabs, counter with hooks and the fight is all Ward, he just needs to keep that up... Froch drops his hands constantly after throwing and Ward lands that hook every time he throws it
Fuck Smoger. He's standing right there, with Wards shoulder practically in Frochs mouth, and he does nothing. :dunno:
Its more breaking down than lighting up, legally and otherwise. Lets be fair, Ward is technically proficient in addition to being dirty.
indeed, after winning the 5th round, I thought Froch may make this competitive but he just lost the last 2 big. He will probably need a ko if he wants to win
Ward's left eye is closing...I just caught that. I thought he took the 8th off and still whupped Froch's ass.
Froch is being out-everything in this fight. Out-boxed, out-sped, out-dirtied (although he just landed a punch after the bell), you name it.
