As for the player himself, he had already given away the penalty, and the team were then 3-1 down and going out. Its possible somebody said something that pushed him over the edge, like "Manc Bastard" but the fact that he was half-black and its Liverpool oOOOOooooh let's reach a conclusion real fast.

In the meantime, "Anton Ferdinand, You Know What You Are", has slipped quietly under the collective radar.

You could very well be right. There may not have been any racial comment(s) made towards Adeyemi. This may just come to nothing too. In general, racial abuse towards players is just not on.
