Let's assume (somewhat safely) that PBF and Pacquiao don't fight in May, and instead face opponents in their own stables, like they have been doing for years now (ignoring entirely what their fans want and instead doing what their promoters want).

Which of the following matchups do you prefer? Which ones deserve criticism for even being suggested? Which ones anger you?

    PBF/Canelo
    PBF/Guererro
    PBF/Cotto
    PBF/Khan

    Pacquiao/Bradley
    Pacquiao/Peterson
    Pacquiao/Cotto II
    Pacquiao/JMM IV

My guess is Khan's out of the running given his loss to Peterson, which may be the reason he's taken it so badly. Then again, PBF's fought guys on PPV before who were coming off a loss.

My preference would be for PBF go to jail (according to the law), and Pacquiao take on Bradley.

All of the matchups anger me.

The only ones i'd care about at all are Pac-Bradley and Floyd-Cotto

All of those fights anger me. Any fight with Floyd or Manny which isn't against one another is a complete bust. These two pricks are doing irreparable damage to our sport.

None of those matchups are particularly appealing.

I'd like Pacquiao Vs Bradley because it would be the most fun matchup of the lot.

I'd also like Floyd Vs Martinez for the fairly high chance of Floyd getting bashed.

I think most people would be interested in that matchup but it wasn't listed.

    PBF/Cotto! That's the best fight that isn't PBF-Pac.

Khan? He doesn't deserve to fight anyone.

    Pacquiao-Bradley I guess....on the pac side.

Pacquiao is, as usual, hiding behind his promoter's skirt. Arum is perfectly willing to serve as the lightning rod for not making the fight, which is only in Arum's best interests as well (as it protects Pac). If Pacquiao really wanted the fight, he would get the fight.

But Pacquiao doesn't want the fight, and he especially doesn't want it with any kind of serious doping tests in place.

At this point, I'm not inclined to believe either side.

I think at this stage, the ones on the wrong side of the debate are those who think either side has made a genuine effort to get the fight made.

Where's your sig? Didn't you already lose a bet that this fight would get made? A bet that since you lost requires you to display the sig?

no. The bet was that this fight would be the very next fight for each man (After the ortiz and Marquez fights). So the matter hasn't been settled yet, LoveLand.

You really belive Manny is scared of Floyd? Cmon. If Feddie Roach and co told Manny that Klitschko was a viable option he'd probably entertain it.

I'll grant you Arum doesn't wany any part of Mayweather for any of his fighters.
