The talk of facebook, so it is. The standard among my mates would be a detached scoff at a clubs expense for being thick, but there's aggrievement for Warnock, here. People are pissed off on his behalf.

As much as I dislike Warnock's sacking and Hughes becoming our new manager, we have to get behind him and have faith, but to be honest I have my doubts.

Hughes is fucking useless. He's had the best squad in the Premier League as well as unlimited resources and even then they were fucking average at best, 11 draws in a row or something. Fuck him man, he's shit. Warnock is a far better manager. Plus this cunt is going on about whether WE can match HIS ambition, fucking prick. Fuck off.

Hughes has signed some great players in the past who are now solid players in the league. Some of his signings have been poo though.

Celtic have done brilliantly to get back the points on the scum!!

It's going to feel so strange around the place without Warnock.

Bringing Hughes in kinda seems like a quick fix. This has all happened so suddenly, it could really backfire.

    Palace 1-0 Cardiff.

I think, for sure, that City would destroy either of these sides, if they didn't, it would be a massive upset, probably bigger than Liverpool vs Wimbledon.

I think Liverpool need to score at CoM tomorrow, something they have not done for some time now. If City rack up another 3-0, forget about it.

Aren't Palace without several first choice players, due to a virus in the team?

Didn't hear about that, I know City will be lacking players after Kompany's appeal was rejected, unfairly, IMHO.

Slice, you need to get behind Hughes now, no matter how much you dislike his appointment.

I'm back to work now for the next hour. I have to keep up to date with what's going on via my sky sports app

From what I saw, Liverpool were dominating. Hart though, pulled out two great saves.

Spurs are doing what I said they had to do. Showing some bottle and winning the big games. Question is, will they keep it up. They got Citeh, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea AWAY and United at home.

Oh and of course QPR too.

Good win for Liverpool, 180 minutes away from some silverware, 90 minutes away from a trip to Wembley.

I'm not. I'm on my way home. Just found out the scores. Spurs are keeping the pressure on, but I still expect them to draw more games combined with a few losses. I hope they continue to win though, of course.

Great win for Liverpool. From what I saw, they dominated and Citeh looked poor.

I think Liverpool can get a result at home and go on to win the cup.

Liverpool in the league cup have won AWAY to Exeter, Brighton, Stoke, Chelsea and City, conceding 3 goals. Not bad.

City were average tonight but Liverpool won't mind. A Wembley Final would be great reward for the efforts so far, and for taking the tournament seriously.

Got to say, Citeh's form of late has not been what is was since the start of the season.
