Weight-wise, its Holyfield's turf, but I doubt Spinks would lose anywhere near as much here as he did moving upto Heavy, and he would carry a clear edge in big-fight experience.
Don't think the weight is much of a factor - Spinks was still very comfortable & wiry at 200lb, 190 would be no problem at all. Holyfield's speed might present more problems than his size, IMO
Evander's bigger, stronger, faster and throws more punches. He also has the better chin. Y'all please tell the Sly how Spinks wins?
Im not sure he throws more punches at all and a 190 Holy aint a 220 Tyson anyway, Spinks chin would be fine. This'd be a contest of skills and brains not a fight night round 3 contest settled by each guys physical attributes!
Nonsense Spinks was a better fighter "p4p" than Holyfield... this fight isn't at heavyweight (where I agree Holy wins big) ... it's at cruiserweight... I don;t see Spinks losing much coming up from 175 and you seem to forget that Holyfield was still a raw guy at that weight, he had to fight hard nonstop against Qawi (whom Spinks easily outboxed and frankly, embarrassed) just to get a close decision win. Mike presents a lot of serious issues for Evander, particularly his versatility, his legs and his jab... and he had the punch to get his respect. It's a good fight, but Spinks is a clear favorite at this weight, he was a better fighter
