    Felix Sturm - Ronald Hearns

    over 8.0 and 9.0 odds are 1,65 (11/17) and 1,72 (13/18) respectively.

Great odds considering the fight going the distance is less at most books and Sturm on Points around that area...

That the fight is likely to be a longer one is a plus.

Mosley at 10/1 for a stoppage is great odds, IMO. It'll be the first time Pac's fought a good right hand puncher since Marquez and by far the hardest puncher he's ever faced, to boot.

Don't get me wrong, my pick is Pac to win, but given the fact Mosley has literally no chance of winning a decision makes a straddle play easy meat.

But as we know by now I'm a very conservative gambler, happy with 10% returns.

I should have just highlighted the Mosley bet, but I just posted the whole thing to give a picture of the event.

This is how I'll be betting on Pac-Mosley, FWIW.

Manny by stoppage at 5/4, sporting bet - £50 stake (17.50 profit)

Manny by decision at 7/4, betfred - £35 stake (£1 profit)

Mosley by stoppage at 10/1, boyle sports - £10 stake (£15 profit)

Naked against a draw & Mosley by decision. No chance.

    *edit*

In actual fact I'll divide my £50 among the longer single round odds, weighted to the last 9 rounds, ends up approx 7/4 that way, rather than 5/4.

Ortiz is +162 to win the rematch against Berto - I thought the first fight was kinda conclusive how come he is the dog here again?

Well Royness, probably because a lot of people share my opinion that he fought a career best fight in the 1st fight, like a man possessed, and he's unlikely to replicate that performance.

Having said that it should still be even money imo at worst. We've seen he is capable of beating Berto, but not vice versa. He's actually a better fighter, but due to how weak he is mentally, it seems just as likely he'll somehow fall apart mentally and lose the rematch. Plus Oh Boy Oh Berto is surely going to be more pumped for the rematch.

Last I saw, Hearns is scheduled to face Lara in February on Showtime.

If I had to try to make sense of the odds, I'd say:

    1. Ortiz shit the bed against PBF
    2. The win was not overly conclusive, considering Ortiz was knocked down and hurt as well
    3. Berto will be less reckless against Ortiz in the rematch

Yeah the Sturm fight was a while ago and i was wrong, too...

In the same mold as the Berto-Ortiz re the Khan Peterson rematch has Peterson as a pretty sizable underdog at +350 on some websites...
