So Floyd won't negotiate until Manny drops the lawsuit? Little things like that effect this shit, Floyd is not blameless here. He won't budge on May 5th, and Pac has to drop the lawsuit, do all the random testing Mayweather asks for and he wants "Someone" to guarantee his purse?

Yeah, he's making it real easy.

Well, let's look at each of these:

    1. Why not May 5th? That's always a big day in boxing and it's 4 months away. As if this fight needs longer than that for promotion.

    2. Pacq's lawsuit is bullshit, but even if it has merit...you think there's not enough $$$ involved in a fight with Mayweather to make it worth his while to drop a BS lawsuit? Hell, he gets the chance to beat up the guy making the allegations against him. Many plaintiff's would love to have that opportunity.

    3. Fuck Pacquiao on random testing. If Floyd will do it, then Pacq should and it's a complete non-issue. I'm sure we aren't talking about 2:30 a.m. urine tests the night before the fight.

    4. This one I'm not sure about and don't fully understand what is going on? If Arum is the sole promoter of the fight, then he needs to guarantee BOTH fighters' salary. If Arum is just a co-promoter with Floyd or someone on Floyd's side, then Floyd can stfu and negotiate with his promoter as a separate issue.

None of these demands, except maybe [4] are worth fighting over for a clean fighter. You accept with reasonable conditions and the fight is on.

If only it was so easy.

May 5th is only a big day for boxing when a mexican is involved. Neither of them are mexican, I seriously doubt Floyd picked this date without a mexican opponent in mind. (Canelo)

The lawsuit is not bullshit, you can't go around accusing people of things with no proof. It's defamation, and it's against the law.

The drug testing is a non issue, Pac will take any and all tests required.

According to Mayweather, he is his own promoter. In reality, it's GBP that promotes Floyd's fights, so if anyone is to guarantee anything it is them, not Arum.

Arum is being a little bitch though, I don't blame Floyd for everything. Arum is stalling the fight as well. It's not as easy as "hey I have a date and venue, let's fight"

Arum and Freddy both know that their little cash cow will get SToPPed and be embarrassed and will be on a street corner in manilla selling balut if he fights Floyd

100% right, now that Pac has accepted Floyd condition ( random drug testin ), he now has to accept his date and his venue in addition to dropping his lawsuit ??? Plus, it seems Floyd want to have his purse guaranteed. Floyd sure likes adding conditions after conditions, it really looks like he's making everything in his power to make the fight happens :rolleyes:

    Yep.

For the record, I don't think Pac/Arum are keen on the fight either, but I fucking laugh at the teenyboppers who think Floyd genuinely is, because of his little twitterbeef outburts plus demanding everything his way.

According to Manny's own wife he wants to fight Cotto again next.

I hope that's not true. Not interested in seeing Cotto take another beating, and another fight we know the outcome of.

Then get some Mexicans on the undercard.

The lawsuit is complete bullshit, at least concerning Jr. The stuff against Jr. has no hope of winning if it goes to trial. Read the filing.

First of all, he didn't make dropping the lawsuit a precondition, he said dropping it would indicate they were serious. Although saying that asking to drop a frivolous lawsuit is unreasonable is indicative of what a Pac dicklicker you are

Nope. I think he's a bitch, just like Floyd, and neither of them want to fight each other. It's pathetic.

If you want to see someone being ridiculous, look no further than loadedgloves and Floyd. He's so far up Floyd's arse he can probably no longer smell the unsavoury scent of his wife.

Bitch move if true. At least go to 150, a weight he already fought at against Plasterito.

Either way I doubt it would make much different. At 150+ I see Pacquiao Vs Cotto being the same fight.

I don't think Cotto stands a realistic chance against Pacquiao or Floyd, which is why I would much rather see him fight Khan or Alvarez.

Agreed, that would be an interesting fight to me.

Unlike Ginger, I think Kirks has the size and sheer ferocity and aggression to make a fight of it.

Kirkland's huge weakness is his chin, but Floyd's power at 154 isn't enough to exploit that.

The 2 Floyd fights that would interest me most are Kirkland and Martinez. I'd love to see both of those. Kirkland as a tune up/test, then Martinez.

Floyd must hit harder than Isihda who has like 4 KO's. Floyd would knock Kirkland out, he's way too accurate.

I agree. I believe PBF hits much harder then people think. Including with that straight right hand.
