Wouldn't have made any difference. Riddick was weight-drained. That punch would have bounced off. Prime Riddick destroys Wayne Kelly.

LOL So true! This version of Bowe punched as hard as Chris Byrd...'s 5 year old kid. I bet you if you took Wayne Kelly and put him instead of Golota he not only would do as good as Golota he would probablly finish the job.

Anybody makes that version of Riddick look bad. His prime was like......sublime. Very hard to nail down. It was there...then gone.

Seriously though...... the 92-93 Bowe would've stopped Golota.

Bowe was God awful in terms of technique in those bouts. Its almost like he was a different fighter altogether from his peak. He was so much more refined earlier.

    Such a wasted career.

I hear that Hadron Collider in Switzerland is all about bashing atoms off each other to find out just when Bowes prime really was.

Not sure about that. A guy who could match his strength was something Bowe never wanted to meet

Bowe is just about broke now, selling autographs outside of Wal-Marts for 10 dollars a picture and is VERY punchy. He is the single biggest waste of talent I have ever seen in the heavyweight division as he could have been something special, but his being afraid of Lennox Lewis was the beginning of the end for him as he went into a skid row spiral of food, drugs and alcohol.

I've interviewed hundreds if not thousands of people and Bowe was probably the nicest guy. Boxing or otherwise.

Bowe was harmless. He used to walk his mother home from work at night. As is usually, not always, but usually the case, the bigger the jockey, the smaller the whip.

Yeah, just really friendly. Genuine too. Perhaps the mean had long been beaten out of him at that point

Bowe's story is a sad one, for sure.

He had a whole host of awful people around him from the get-go, starting with that rat manager of his

Those are reserved sparingly as literary counter-offensives against me. Cdogg only deploys his Para-Troopers after much careful consideration.

That is not fair... I think, in general, I am quite friendly with you and we usually find common ground. But, you and I love a good debate, a good talk (as all Micks do) so it is only natural that we should butt heads now and then. It's good for us. It's in our blood.

It is fair, but...perhaps inaccurate. You do get stuck into others too, of course. Agreed on the rest.
