In this case it is an immature sissy lion who slaps female lions and avoids facing the dangerous antelopes

Looks like it's going to be Pacquiao/Cotto. Why do we need a rematch again?

    We don't.

I'd much rather see him fight Bradley.

Bradley doesn't stand a better chance of winning than Cotto, but at least it's a new fight, and would probably be more action packed.

It always was going to be Cotto. Jinkee said over a week ago Manny chose Cotto. The WBO president said that Pacs team told him he was going to fight in June when the world knows that Floyd is in jail in june. Manny's handpicking is rediculous but he gets lots of credit for it.

Not as ridiculous as Floyd pricing himself out of a fight.

i can see where mayweather jr would ask for more than 50%. its a foolish move that may cause him to miss out on a good payday and a legacy enhancing win (not that it should be, pacquiao is more or less shot). but lets face it folks, mayweather jr took 50/50 with hatton and would be retarded to ask for 70% against a beatable guy. anyone who believes that nonsense is obviously a biased little chode

Michael Marley over at Boxing Examiner is reporting that Manny Pacquiao, in an effort to solidify the richest money fight in history, has voiced his willingness to accept a smaller purse than Floyd Mayweather.
The article goes on to explain that Pacquiao recently gave an interview to Nick Giongco of the Manila Bulletin where he stated, "I will take less money than Mayweather gets because the important thing is making the fight happen."
Given that expectations for the pot of this megafight are easily in the neighborhood of $100 million, Pacquiao won't make out too badly even if he has to suffer a 45-55 split.
But Pacquiao's pronouncement is encouraging news for the boxing world given the stumbling blocks so far in trying to make this fight happen.
What remains the chief obstacle still seems to be the personal and business animosity between Bob Arum and Floyd Mayweather. Arum has a long track record of keeping his big fights in-house within his own stable of fighters.
It remains to be seen if the fallout of letting the biggest monetary fight in history slip through his fingers is enough incentive for Arum to begin serious negotiations in earnest of making the fight happen. Rumors have swirled about Arum's willingness, only to have Floyd Mayweather correct the record that in fact no negotiations had taken place.
Floyd still seems to have taken the advantage in this media battle of perception given his clear and definitive calling out Pacquiao and setting a date and location for the fight to take place (May 5, in Las Vegas).

Pacquiao might just be calling Floyd's bluff, to see what other obstacles he can conjure up :kidcool:

If Pacquiao is genuinely trying to make the fight happen I'm surprised.
