Barton needs to shut his gob and get on with what he gets paid to do. He played well enough today. Was a far, far better team performance. Best i've seen for a long while. Check out the highlights - some cracking goals. If we continue playing like that, we're safe. Wigan are down. They are too weak at the back and don't have enough up front. That said, we still need reinforcements.

Fuck Reo-Coker, the emotive babbling "I will die for West-Ham" moron. Go rob a foot-locker outlet.

Yes, correct on Bellamy, but.....why is "a cross sent in by Andy Carroll".....:dunno:

Why is HE crossing the fucking thing? :dunno:

Sorry to wreck your buzz man...I know you only call in here the odd time since this place was renamed Loftus Talk About Almost Anything  but.......:goingmad:

Agreed with you on the modern player. Its what makes football hard to follow. He's going home to count his money, W-L-or-D, and party in San Tropez that Summer. :wack:

On the long-ball thing, is what what Liverpool are now? Hoof it, get Andy to flick it on in the wind, hope somebody is on the end of it?? I mean, thats all well and good, but for £100m.?

Is Gerrard playing? Carroll could start scoring if Gerra starts putting in Gerra type balls in the box...

Really, I don't see that at all- we don't go long to Carroll, we don't play to that 'strength'..

Gerrard will make a difference to Carroll - he made Torres unstoppable and will
No doubt create opportunities for Carroll

Yes, but this is what annoys me so. Its not about "Pumping" the ball in there...you see these old lyrics everytime the usual sods sit down to talk football on TV..."whipping the ball in", "pumping it in there", "great delivery".....here's the problem- Zat Knight is taller than Carroll and the defender almost always gets the benefit of the doubt.

Last week vs Stoke, Huth got Carroll in a headlock and the commentator said it was "6 of 1 and half-a-dozen of the other". How did West Brom get two goals at Stoke, when Liverpool have scored NONE against them in the league this Season??

The unadulterated target man is the preserve of teams with no-imagination managers or lack funds. Should Carroll play? Yes, sure. Should he be the sole target man? Not a bit of it. He should just be there.

    Poor defense for Bolton's opener.

We are right not to play to any strength. We should just play. Agreed on Gerrard, but Gerrard made Owen look good, made Torres look good.....what happens when Gerrard retires? Have Liverpool got a guy who is "Ready to Die Like Stevie"

PS I was referring to todays goal....punt by Reina, flick by Carroll, finish by Bellers....i mean......its not what I expected....I want to see defenders being drawn to Carroll as we play our way into positions. I want to see Carroll getting subtle flicks, nods, touches and the like.

And he is capable of doing that, we have tried to play its just not happening, there is nothing wrong with the odd long ball, we are now back in the game..

As for gerrard - the guy is a special talent and we will struggle no end when he hangs them up

    Drama queen

The only thing about Bellamy starting is that we have nothing on the bench..
I've been expecting Bolton to turn it around for weeks, of all the games FS

Agreed on Bolton turning it around, but here is the thing.....nobody is afraid of Liverpool. That fear, United have it, and its worth a goal lead, everytime. How do we go about getting people to shit their pants and settle for a loss before the game??

Just something about refereeing that appeals to those types, I guess. Good day. Apparently a troop of orcs got the fuck kicked out them at Ibrox subway station by Aberdeen casuals, too.:pointlaugh: That'll do lads, that'll do.

Oh yes yes....I caught a minute or two of that last week, didn't watch any length of it. Personally, and this is a sweeping statement, I never regarded most standing Armies as being anything more than breeding grounds for all manner of hoodlums once they pass back out into Civvy Street. Sort of a legal version of what goes on on jail- crime school, but more sophisticated.

Liam Cunningham. Is he down shaking the barley in Paradise? :laugh11:
